-9! The OFFICE MANAGER IS RUINING THEIR PRACTICES. The physicians and Nurse Practitioners are very knowledgeable however, my daughter and I were "fired" from the "practices" after over 9 years of care with both Dr. Alexander and Evelyn Scheutz. Someone in the office told Dr. A. I had cursed at them, (I did not) there was absolutely no conversation regarding this. It was 100% heresay and likely a mix-up in patients, yet the "doctors" fired me. I appreciate their support toward there staff and need for appropriate behavior towards their staff. That said. I attempted to explain and rectify this 9 years ago, and again today, now that my daughter is 16. The "cursing" did not occur. I work as a professional nurse and have for over 15 years. I have contact regularly with each of them, I obtain orders personally from them for a living with my patients. I speak and communicate with these physicians. I have for years. I have had personal experiences with them as well, ties to the community and find them personally friendly, nice and knowledgeable. My daughter has grown up with Dr. Puckets daughter. Dr Pucket has delivered 5 babies in my immediate family. Ive been with him in the office telling a family member they were having twins. Ive encouraged numerous patients and families to see them through the years. I have even personally had the nurse practitioner in my home... yet again today I requested to schedule an appointment with a gynecologist for my daughter, since she is now 16. The office manager CINDY refused to even ask the DRs if they would see her over a miscommunication that was stated and I disputed over 9 years ago. These people know me, but SHE refuses to budge. She wont even request the physicians reconsider and that it could have been erroneous on the part of whatever office person. There is definitely a HUGE problem with communication and management. They are literally suffering as a direct result of the poor management and lack of communication between the physicians and administration. Its clear to me that this is the reason so many patients are frustrated and leaving them. Its ashame. I am personally asked for my opinion on Doctors in our area almost daily and I will tell anyone of my patients and their families my honest opinion on their poor management practices and lack of communication skills. I will encourage them to seek out more reasonable, personable practices whenever possible. No one wants to be treated disrespectfully and disregarded as a person or patient. Where are the patient advocates? Where is the consideration for the people who are loyal and actually supporting their livelihood? Definitely DISAPPOINTED!

I was a patient of Dr. Evelyn Schuetz for several years; however, I primarily saw the nurse practitioner, Jaimee Puckett. I had an abnormal pap in 2010 and was very disturbed by the lack of communication regarding the results of it as well as the follow-up procedure. I had to call the office several times to find out my results; each time I was on hold for 10-15 minutes. I found the office to be antiquated, the staff to be overly busy and unprofessional. I had to literally beg the information out of the Dr. and nurse. I was given a pamphlet which seemed as if it was from 1970! I was so disturbed, I switched Doctors. I’m writing this review now because 3 years later I called the office to find out dates of my services. After being on hold for more than 10 minutes, I was told my chart would have to be pulled but that I would get a call back the same day. I never received a call back. I called again the next week and spoke with Vicki. She gave me some information off my chart, but when I asked questions she said that I should have been given this information 3 years ago. I was – but what a rude and unprofessional answer! I simply wanted to be refreshed about my very important and personal medical records! She said she could fax me a release and send me the information. I told her I was calling to have it explained to me and not read information I didn’t understand. She literally said she didn’t have time for me today. I asked if a nurse could call me back and she said she would do that. She was very snarky and VERY RUDE and unprofessional. If this office is so busy that they cannot staff enough employees to answer patient questions professionally and not keep people on hold for 10-20 minutes a call, then maybe they should think about cutting back their patient load. I would NEVER recommend this office!

I am giving a one star because the scale does not allow a negative. I have been going to Boonslick Medical Group for years and spoke praise of them. Things started to change while they grew but were still in the previous location. For years I usually was able to make an appointment and meet with my doctor but as they grew I was never able to see him and could get only appointments with a nurse practitioner. The level of care continued to drop dramatically when they expanded and moved to the new facility. Even though I was a long time patient they had grown to the point they no longer know me. My primary doctor moved to another practice and I was not notified. I was only told of his departure when I needed a refill for a prescription of medicine that I have needed for 13 years. I was told they would not call the pharmacy with a refill until I saw one of the other doctors in their office. I was a customer of BMG for many years yet I was told I would not be able to see one of their doctors because none of them had an opening until May 2017 and this was September 2016. They did fit me in to see a nurse and they eventually called in a refill though I was out a short time. I still have not decided on a new primary care doctor but I will not return to BMG.

Dr. Cusworth performed a colonoscopy & endoscopy on my mother & she became very ill with a viral or bacterial GI illness shortly after. I called his office & explained her symptoms & that I was wondering if she picked up something during the procedure. He called me back personally & was very defensive stating that was impossible because that had never happened during his entire career! I said well she wasnt that sick before! He offered no advice other than taking OTC maalox! He refused to prescribe her medication for nausea saying it was too expensive anyway. Most useless doctor Ive ever met. He had ZERO concern for her!!! I was shocked & disappointed. He only cares about his reputation & is so arrogant. Fast forward 3 months & my mom is still not the same! She has more acid reflux & bloating than before! Now their billing office is calling wanting immediate over the phone credit card payment only for a small amount. Im not posting this because Im mad about the bill. I do believe people should get paid for their work. However, if your going to hassle a 66 year old for $32 when shes still sick from your half ass work then SHAME on you!!! This is not a doctor of integrity!

One star is one too many regarding nurse practitioner: Jennifer. I had xray done, as told by office. Made an appointment when finished. She ask me who told me to get an xray? The office staff! I had open wounds on 2 toes and what I thought was a fracture, also communicated to her I was in pain. She said I had a soft tissue injury. Recommended ibuprofen, ice, wound culture and antibiotic. Didnt even ask when my last tetanus shot was! I have Lou Gehrigs disease and am unable to speak clearly. I had write on/wipe off board with me to communicate. That woman spoke to my friend who drove me to office! I may not be able to articulate but I can hear and think quite clearly! The following day she must have mis-dialed and couldnt get me by phone so she called my emergency contact. My toe is fractured! My son is my emergency contact. I hadnt told him what a horrible experience I had in the office. He said she was "scatter brained" and "over her head" when he spoke to her. What a shame. Boonslick medical use to have a great reputation. I would not recommend them ever again!
