My sons regular doctor was out of town for a death in the family. My son became ill and had to see Dr. Rickerson instead. She was not caring at all. She seemed annoyed to have to be covering for her colleague due to the death in his family. My son has a long history of breathing and sinus issues that I pointed out multiple times during the visit. Her diagnosis was a virus. Give him honey for his cough and let him play outside was her treatment plan for him. By that evening he had a 102 fever and 12 days later he was diagnosed by his regular doctor with pneumonia. That could have been prevented if Dr. Rickerson had actually taken a minute to listen to me or review his chart. I will never take my children to her again.

Dr. Rickerson has always been caring and attentive with my kids. She is patient and understanding of my questions and/or concerns. Her exams are very thorough, and she plays and converses with my son & daughter. She is the best pediatrician I have taken my kids to. When my daughter started having behavioral issues, she helped us find the specialists we needed to diagnose and treat her mental illnesses. I hope she stays in the practice until my kids no longer need a pediatrician!

Caring and thorough. She listens to my concerns and if I have a question about a concern regarding one of my other children she listens and advises. She gets down on their level and speaks to them too My children like her and interact with her better than our old dr.
