My experience here was horrible, first of all I lost my license the same day my son had an appointment and when I told the receptionist with the dark curly brown hair that I lost my license she had a bad attitude telling me I need the license because my child is a minor, but any clinic that I have took my child to I never got harassed about Identification right then, but of course I always had my identification, but not today cause I lost my license. The doctor was kind and the nurse that took my son vitals. So when it was time for me to check out the lady thats on the check out side had a snobby attitude also, I would not recommend anyone to bring their child to this clinic, i will surely be taking my son back to Brandon family health care clinic were the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.. This employees at this clinic looks at you like you dont suppose to be at their clinic. This how my experience at pediatrics of River Oaks in Flowood, MS was on 4/24/2017

I LOVE Merit Health Pediatrics! This is the only clinic my son has ever been to and I switched my daughter to them because I LOVED them so much. Everytime I have a question the nurses call me back like they say they will. My sons prescription wasnt covered by Medicaid, but he needed it badly and the nurse stayed working on it until Medicaid paid for it. I am in and out within 30-40 minutes depending on how many questions I have. Then, when i have 100 silly questions they dont mind to sit and answer. They called to check on me and my family because my mother passed 1 month after my son was born and they wanted to make sure I sidnt slip into depression. They are always so sweet and treat my children great! They call me by name and call my children by name when they see us. This is the only clinic my daughter isnt afraid to go to because they make you feel comfortable. I would recommend this clinic to everyone!

The doctors will not stop to take the time to ask you question about your child. They push you through like cattle just to get their money. My child was being treated for ezcema. When that didnt work, they treated her for fungal infection. My daughter was having an allergic reaction and breaking out in hives. They couldnt tell the difference between eczema, a fugal infection, and hives. Probably because no one ever stopped and asked me about my childs symptoms or even gave me the chance to try. My mother is the one who thought it might have been hives and shes a mother, not a doctor. I would not recommend this place. They dont want to get on a personal level with you child to actually find out whats wrong and help fix the problems, only try to cover the symptoms.
