Review of Alpine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Surgery I have had four surgeries from the three Alpine surgeons. In January 2014 I broke my Achilles skiing. It was repaired by Peter Kellerher the day after it was broken and I returned to skiing in six weeks versus four to six months. It has remained perfect. Peter was always available to answer questions to supervise my recovery therapy. In April 2014 Mark Deibert replaced my right knee. Three weeks later he replaced my left knee. Five days after the first knee was replaced and ten days after the second knee was replaced I had full range of motion allowing me to touch my heel to my butt. Mark used "non standard" implants due to my of activities. Normally range of motion for implants is far less. Four weeks after the second knee was replaced I rode a motorcycle 600 miles to Ely, Nevada without pain. In November of 2016 my left hip was diagnosed as being bone on bone. Peter Kellerher treated it and I skied nearly the entire ski season without pain. In May of 2017, Tim O Brien replaced my hip. The hip he used is less likely to dislocate. I was skeptical about his use of lateral versus anterior surgery, but my previous experience at Alpine overcame any doubts. Not surprisingly, Tim was correct. The ball on top of my femur was disintegrating due to repeated impacts. The lateral approach allowed him to see the condition far better than would have been the case with the anterior approach. I could not be happier with the results. Prior to surgery I could not walk ten feet without pain. Four days after surgery I walked 11/2 miles carefully, but pain free. Fifteen days after surgery Tim released me to resume all normal activities with care. Six weeks after surgery I rode my motorcycle more than 2000 miles without pain. I have skied more than 400 days on my repaired Achilles and replaced knees and have ridden motorcycles many thousands of miles all without a single feeling of pain or swelling. My new hip is incredible. I can not sufficiently express my gratitude for the outstanding surgeries performed by Alpine surgeons strongly enough. In addition to the surgeons, my experience with their teams was superb. I was never kept waiting for an answer and their care was impeccable. Both of my new knees and my new hip really feel "spring loaded". By the way I am 72 years old. Sent from my iPad

The doctors and professional staff at Alpine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine are some of the most proficient, talented and dedicated people I know. A terrible skiing accident resulted in my leg having both the tibia and fibula being severely fractured in multiple locations, and that is how I came to know the Alpine team. I consider myself extremely fortunate that Dr. Deibert was working the ER in Bozeman the day of my accident, as his experience and knowledge is leading to my complete recovery. Although I live almost two hours away from Alpine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine – and have many orthopedic options in my community – the care I receive and confidence I have in Dr. Deibert’s team make my drive considerably worthwhile. It is rare to find an organization where EVERYONE seems to treat you like you are their only patient, but that has been my continued experience at Alpine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. The front desk staff always greet me with a smile, and paperwork is always prepared ahead of time and ready for my review and signature. The waiting room is fun (yes, fun!) as there are always extreme sports videos playing to remind us of the lifestyle we plan to return to. I have had to have numerous x-rays due to my accident, and the process has always been quick and painless. And one of the many things that I sincerely appreciate is that within minutes of my x-ray Dr. Deibert or one of his staff are showing me the pictures and explaining my situation in terms that I can understand. And when I have requested copies of my x-rays they have always gone out in the mail the same day. But I think what stands out the most for me is the personal touch that Dr. Deibert, his assistant Charli, the nurses and his team have afforded me. It is obvious that these people genially care about my wellbeing, as there have been numerous occasions where I have received phone calls well after regular business hours – sometimes to return a call but more often just to follow-up to make sure I’m doing okay.

In 2013 I broke my leg and had the good fortune to have Dr. Pete Kelleher of Alpine Orthopedics as my surgeon. Dr. Kelleher did an excellent job of fixing my crushed and fractured tibia plateau. Since then I have skied, biked & hiked and have had no issues with my leg. I also recently had Dr. Kelleher perform an arthroscopic knee surgery. My recuperation was pain free and fast - I am 100% back to normal. Dr. Kelleher has always taken extra time to make sure I understood the procedure he was performing and that I was comfortable with all decisions. His follow up has been above my expectations. He is readily available to discuss any issues and problems. I believe that Dr. Kelleher is an excellent surgeon. His professional and personal approach with patients makes it easy for me to highly recommend him. Michael Bing

The nurse brought me in to an exam room and asked me what was up. He left after a couple minutes and said the Doctor would be in shortly. 30 minutes go by and I ask where the doctor is. They insure me again he will be there in the next ten minutes. I wait another 30 minutes and the doctor still hadnt been in. I had an important class to attend so I had to unfortunately leave. My shoulder was in a lot of pain from falling on a skateboard a few days ago and I really wanted someone to look at it. They charged me $180 for my visit and I didnt even get to se a doctor. I chatted with them and told them what happened but they wrote in their records that I saw a doctor and was given information. This literally never happened. So now I am aware their patient records arent all true and they just want peoples money.

I can`t say enough good things about Alpine Orthopedics,I had a torn bicep that was laying by my elbow,I was sent to another company who said physical therapy only, after a few weeks of it still hurting I got the ok from workers comp for a second opinion ,Dr. Deibert saw the mri and two day later done surgery. I am now doing pt and coming along well. This was a tuff surgery due to waiting so long. If I ever had another problem that was in his field of work,no matter what state I was in I would come to Bozeman to see him and his staff.(MY OPINION ONLY) is if you want your injury fixed right and be dealt with withe great people go see Dr Deibert,Charli and the rest of the staff at Alpine Orthopedic. Happy Holidays to some great people

If you have had an injury or your body is just wearing out...do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Alpine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. I did and I cant believe my results. I had been to a different office and had my knee scoped in 2007. I have continued to have problems throughout the years. I went to see Dr Timothy OBrien @ Alpine Orthopedics had the same surgery and I can not believe how quickly I have recovered. I have been more active than I have in years. Thank you to Alpine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. I want to send a special Thank You to Dr Timothy OBrien, Jessie, and Jenn for being so wonderful through the entire process. Thank You for my life back.
