I generally only write reviews when I experience something exceptional from a company. Such has been my exposure to Home Instead Senior Care, Inc. You see, I am a Home Instead franchisee with an independently owned and operated office in central Florida. That means that in exchange for the use of the Home Instead name and the support they provide, I get to write a not-insignificant check to them (the corporate office) every month. It would be natural to begrudge having to make that payment and I understand that many other franchisees outside of Home Instead feel that way about their franchisor. That is NOT the way I feel, however. The support that we get from the home office is fantastic. I am confident that I could call and be passed right through to founders Paul and Lori Hogan or anyone else in senior management if I asked. If I call and reach someones voice mail, I can be sure to hear back from them in short order. The same is true with email. They are always there for us. Not only are they always there for us but they usually know what they are talking about. I have tremendous respect for the entire corporate team. Most important, as a Home Instead franchisee I have the opportunity to be associated with a company that has the best reputation in the non-medical home care industry. We try so hard to do the right thing with our caregivers, our clients and their families. I think about how discouraging it would be to do a great job in our territory only to have that effort offset by a less than stellar brand reputation. My reality is that I feel a great moral responsibility to uphold and carry forward the fantastic reputation that has been built up by the corporate office and hundreds of other independently owned and operated offices over the last 20 years. We work hard every day toward that goal. Whether you are an existing or prospective franchisee, vendor, client, caregiver or anyone else considering an association with Home Instead Senior Care at the corporate level or at the local office in your home town, I sincerely hope that your experience is as favorable as what my wife, Kathi, and I have experienced. Ive included a few pictures of our on-site corporate interactions in Omaha, including a couple to show that they also know how to have fun!

I began my adventure at Home Instead Senior Care a little over a month ago. Being a new employee and learning a new job can be daunting, but my coworkers have been incredibly helpful as I’ve gone through the onboarding process. From day one, I felt a sense of belonging that I’ve never experienced in previous jobs. The motto, “To us, it’s personal”, is demonstrated not only in the relationships the organization builds with its clients but also in the way employees are treated. From day one, I’ve felt not only am I part of a team that is making a difference in people’s lives, but I also feel valued for my contributions to the company. Home Instead Senior Care’s recognition as one of Omaha’s best places to work is well deserved. I’m amazed at the positive work environment and thrilled to be working at a company that truly cares about its employees and clients.

My grandma has Alzheimers, so we have been trying to learn about Alzheimers care and dementia. I have very impressed by the professional and caring people at Home Instead. Thank you to all for answering all our questions. Figuring out how to answer her repetitive questions was quite a challenge, especially about grandpa - who pasted away many years ago. Its surprising to find out how many of my friends parents are getting some type of dementia. and scary...

I just celebrated my one-year anniversary with Home Instead and cant imagine being anywhere else. I dont know of an employer who care as much about its employees as Home Instead. I come to work each day knowing Ill impact the lives of thousands of seniors around the world, while having fun and being myself.
