Bad experience having a hysterectomy by him and waiting FOREVER at every one of my appts. My appt time would be 9 and I wouldnt be seen until 1045, if that! And then with my hysterectomy I had to have 2 emergency surgeries to fix vag cuff blowing out and another fall out in the recovery room. When I went to his office, after I called them to tell them of the situation; I walked right back, didnt even check in because I had already bled through two layers of clothes and my sisters car seats, in 30 mins I was dropping blood clots the size of softballs balls. He had no idea why. He sent me via my sister to the hospital to be directly admitted to the hospital; which still took 45+ minutes once we got there with me bleeding intensely and then to be admitted to the kidney failure floor to sit bleeding in a wheelchair for another 30+ mins before a nurse came to get me situated into my room. When she had me stand from the wheelchair I had 5+ massive blood clots fall out of me the size of softballs and she panicked, wondering how I could even stand and asking why I was on her floor. Immediately I was put on the bed and connected to every monitor and told not to move until they contacted the doctor and found out when I was up for surgery. About an hour later they came and rushed me to the pre-op floor then when I got to that room the nurse said Id be up for surgery in about an hour, phone rang and said I was going right then. They took me back to the surgery floor and said theyd clean me up there (I have been shooting out blood clots for hours at this point). I had one emergency surgery and remember being moved from the gurney to the surgery bed and the tech freaking out by the amount of blood loss and size of clots. After I woke up in recover from the first surgery I complained of bleeding and was repeatedly told by the dr and nurses that they fixed it. When they finally checked me they found I was still bleeding heavily and required another emergency surgery AND a blood transfusion then to spend 5 days in the hospital elevated almost upside down to keep pressure off the incisions...three surgeries later he made 5 layers to keep the cuff in place. I did not heavy lifting or anything. Pretty sure if the original surgery was done correctly the two others would not have been necessary, nor the stress on my kids and family...nor on myself! I just wouldnt trust him again!

I first saw Dr. Dennis 5 years ago with my first child. He was very caring and I had the best delivery/cesarean experience. My scar virtually disappeared after the procedure and healing was easier than anticipated. Now, I am having my second child and didnt have to think twice about who to go to. Sometimes, hes a little quirky but he does a great job of remembering each of his patients and your circumstances despite how many faces he must see in a day. The office staff is helpful and friendly and I highly recommend this office.

After a rather tragic first pregnancy I wasnt inclined to use the same OGBYN...I received a referral from The Life Change Center of Carson City. It was suggested that I try Dr. Dennis. Im so happy that I did. Him and his staff were awesome and I would recommend their care for feminine concerns as well as pregnancy.
