This dentist bought the practice from a retiring colleague. My first few visits I had the sense that they were always trying to "sell" me a procedure of one sort or another. Then I had tooth pain and was informed I needed a root canal and then was to return for follow-up work. Before I left that day, they had me sign a paper saying I understood they were prescribing $4,000 to $5,000 in additional dental work (not including root canal) and that I had been given information on how to finance the work (they never asked if I needed financing options). Some of this prescribed work was optional, but this was not admitted until I probed. So, I went to the endodontist (root canal) office and was told the tooth was not dead and did not need a root canal EXCEPT that they could perform one so Dr. (?) Cercek could perform the work as indicated on the referral slip. Hmmmn. I got the name of another dentist from a highly respected local surgeon and paid to have this other dentist do full xrays and a consultation. Guess what? NONE of that work was included in his recommendations. Be VERY VERY careful of Dentist Cercek.

I have been seeing Dr Cercek and her staff since she took over for Dr Nitz. I have never had a better experience at a dentist office. Laughter is always a part of the visit. She is very thorough and always has the lastest tools to make the visit less painful. Shes the best!
