Came here Saturday feeling like I had a bout of strep/ severe sore throat, Feverish, the works.. The reviews were great so I chose this location. Wait time was great, but the staff seemed bothered and not friendly at all. Not really an issue, but fast forward to being with the dr. Took a test for strep and it came back negative. Ok, so instead of sending it out for a thorough test from the lab, she prescribes me flu medicine and tells me not to take it until my results are back from the flu test. I get a call the next day from her assistant who tells me that was also negative so Im fine. Ok, but Im not fine. I could barely swallow and my threat is swollen, fever is still present, so how is that fine? She puts me on hold , returns and says the dr said to take over the counter cold medicine. I go out and buy NyQuil flu. Wake up Sunday, worst. I get another call from their office asking how I was feeling. I tell her the same if not worst. She said Im sorry. Hope you feel better. Seriously, lady? You called me for that?! Anyway, I went to prompt MED (not prompt MD) in Fort Lee! Nj. I wished I had gone there in the first place. These people are qualified and know what they are doing. The dr retested for strep, sent it out to get read by the lab which took an extra 2 days but at least she checked and prescribed antibiotics. I asked her why didnt she use a quick test, and she explained that If strep test are done with one of those immediate response testers, more than likely they can have false negatives which is why they should be sent out to the lab for thorough results. Im no doctor but prompt MD Edgewater made me question where they received their medical degrees from. Not too bright, waste of time, and money. Lack common sense.

I had a great experience at PromptMD in Edgewater. I got there at 8am as a walk-in (which is great!) when they opened and they quickly got me in to see Dr. Tavarez. They were all very professional, took my vitals, sent my prescriptions electronically to my pharmacy, and I was good to go. 2 days later they called me to see how I was feeling. I love that. My own primary doctor doesnt even do that. I decided on PromptMD through a recommendation from a family friend who said she had a great experience and said how friendly they were. Both were right. Also, if I tried to see my own doctor, I probably would have to be "squeezed in" and then wait in his reception area for 2 hours after my appointment time for him to not even spend 3 minutes with me. I will definitely be going back next time I am sick. They truly live up to their name PROMPTmd.

I had a great experience at the Edgewater PromptMD. At first, I had missed this facility in my search of a walk-in clinic due to the fact that most of the stores in the shopping complex are squeezed in tightly together making some of the signs a little indistinguishable. Also, PromptMD is tucked in the corner next to Sushi Cruise. Though when I went, I was very pleased to be seen right away. They accept most major insurance and signing initial paperwork was fast and easy. The facility is very clean and well maintained and the staff is very helpful and courteous. After all was done, I received a follow-up call to check on my health following my exam, which was great. Im very happy to have a great walk-in clinic so nearby.

The concept of dropping in for quick care is great and part of a growing trend of forward thinking physicians. Who wants to go to the ER and sit around for several hours while doctors and nurses scramble to make life-saving decisions before getting around to analyzing your sore throat? The doctors here are well informed, provide healthful advice and are pretty nice too. Thats all to be expected. But whats also to be expected in todays modern economy is wi-fi in Public spaces. We get it at Starbucks, McDonalds and even the local hair salon. We should now ask for it everywhere we sit and play with our smartphones. Head to PromptMD for good and quick care, but add your vote for free wifi while youre there.

Not much of a waiting time! Probably around 5 minutes max! (Which is never the case at most doctors offices and I was a new patient!) I decided to go to this center after a recommendation from a family member. The doctor was super nice and explained everything clearly. This was my second trip to the doctor for me in the past few days after I originally went somewhere else and did not feel confident after still not getting better after a few days. I came the PromptMD and found out I was basically misdiagnosed from the previous place I went to! Luckily I came here and I am already starting to feel better! Wish I went here from the start!

I was recommended PromptMD in Edgewater by a friend/colleague at work. I entered work with sharp pains and discomfort on my knee. I had to leave early because of the Pain. As I entered Prompt MD, I filled out questionnaire and within 10 minutes was seen by a doctor. She was wonderful. The doctor checked my knee for places of pain and assistant took X-rays. A diagnosis was given according to X-rays results and Im to follow up with an Orthopedic doctor. The staff was very Professional and courteous. I was very Pleased and I will definitely recommend to others. Thank you! Great Professionalism! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our go-to PromptMD. The wait is short, the doctors are knowledgeable, and the whole experience is a lot easier and more convenient than having to make a primary doctors appointment or run to an ER for every little thing and risk waiting all day and ending up kept "for observation" for two days. Most sudden ailments can be easily resolved with a quick exam and a prescription, and the Edgewater PromptMD has always come through for us. The last doctor I saw there was Dr. Sandra Lee, and she was absolutely wonderful and diagnosed and treated me correctly, based on what little she had to work with.

Excellent service. I called in at 7:20 (they close at 8pm) to see if I can run my son over to check his hand As I thought it could be sprained. They said they normally stop X-rays at 7pm but told me to rush right over and they could accommodate me. I got there at 7:35 and only waited 10 mins to be seen. At no point did I feel rushed to get us out of there since they were closing. The staff was very nice and helpful and got us in to see the doc as soon as possible. The doctor was very sweet and was very thorough in examining my sons hand!! I would absolutely go back!!

Went there to get a check up on my cold that I had over 5 days. Everyone there are very professional and polite. I felt comfortable visiting there and the Drs service was great as well. She prescribed me some meds & I was on my way out. There were some people ahead of me & everone seemed to be there for same cold symptoms as I did. Since its the cold season I guess lot of people are sick. If only took me about 35 minutes from walking in to walking out. Will definitely be going back whenever I need to.
