Never trust a dentist that contradicts her own medical opinions or has no recollection of her own previous opinions. Furthermore, never trust a dentist that doesnt use dental floss during your standard dental cleaning. Dr. Ellen Ost told me I needed a deep cleaning during my 1st visit. She explained my need for one was evident just by looking at my gums and x-rays. During my 2nd appointment made for a deep cleaning, she denied ever telling me I needed one since she hadnt written it down in my chart. She couldnt admit she forgot to write down such pertinent information so her defense reflex was to simply disregard my actual need for one and deny saying what she said 2 months prior. She patronized me by insinuating I somehow misunderstood. I couldnt have misunderstood being that the receptionist called to tell me my insurance finally approved the request for the deep cleaning and that I needed to make an appointment for one. Dr. Ost contradicted her own medical opinion from one visit to the next. Rather than admit to her own oversight and negligence in forgetting to write down necessary information, she regretfully gave me a routine standard cleaning instead and chose not to use dental floss, a fundamental tool used for this procedure. If she had used floss, the hygienist would have seen the blood produced by my gums. Since she didnt want to be proven wrong in front of the dental hygienist, Dr. Ost chose not to use floss on me which would have clearly indicated the need for a deep cleaning. Dr.Ost deliberately gave me an incomplete rushed dental cleaning that took less than 5 minutes just because she has difficulty admitting when shes wrong. My dental health should never be compromised because my dentist cant admit she forgot to write something down; medical offices cannot be ran this way. Jeopardizing someones health for your own ego is unexceptable. And dont even get me started on having to wait two and a half hours both times in the waiting room after arriving punctual each time.

Si se le pudiera dar 0 estrellas a este lugar, seguro que se lo diera. Muy mal servicio al cliente, desde el front desk hasta la doctora que me atendió. Fui por una limpieza regular, la cual me hago cada 6 meses. Esta fue mi primera vez en ese lugar. Las chicas del front desk hablando unas con otras mientras esperaba parada por la atencion de una de ellas.. la doctora quería hacerme una limpieza profunda que requiere anestesia y como mi seguro no cubre la anestesia, la doctora simplemente dijo eso es todo. Se fue del consultorio y me dejo sola. En primer lugar yo asistí al lugar por mi limpieza regular, la cual ella podía hacerla pero nunca me la ofreció solo hizo irse y dejarme allí sentada. Me sentí como si no le importara como paciente al no darme opciones, y solo ofrecerme el procedimiento más costoso sin necesidad. Jamás Jamás!!!!

***If you are reading this is because your human instinct is telling you theyre not good, please keep away from this dentist if you care about your health**** I was schedule in for a root canal, came in @ noon and left @ 5pm for a root canal which was preformed by a white lady, very rude by the way and told me your root canal is all done and told me to schedule another appointment for the crown. Never the less, I was numb at the time I left. Next day my face was swollen my eye lids were swollen as well. I got scared and missed a day from work to look for another dentist. I googled the best rated dentist and just walked in for help. I was in terrible pain... the dentist took X-rays and advised me that the root canal was just started not finished and it was infected.. this is called a root canal gone bad.. I almost lost my tooth, I thank God I found a good dentist. Also, the white lady at the dentist office is an practicing in patients and sadly I was one of them.. :( also she gives you prescriptions under another dentist name.. She is not a dentist keep away from this office for reals.

1. Dr. Patel is one of the worst dentist Ive ever met!! Hes always in a hurry! Very unprofessional!.. Works on 4 patients at a time! Always forgets what he was originally doing.. Did 1 root canal by mistake (wrong tooth!!), and another root canal which failed after 1year -- so I had to have it extracted.. Completely wasted my time and lots of my money!!!!! 2. The staff are untrained (mostly young adults right out of highschool) and also very unprofessional. They really have no genuine care what theyre doing. When asked to speak to the dentist, they always try to block the calls. 3. One time, I had to go to an ATM (pay the charges) and pay them in CASH because their credit card machine was broken! They would not even have the decency to bill me like the rest of my doctors!!! No wonder theyre in the mall --because they cannot get REFERRALS or recommendations from their patients.. So, they pry on innocent mall goers for their clientele. Absolutely stay away from this dental office!

The WORST PLACE TO GO TO! FIRST- youll never be seen at the time your appointment is scheduled to, if you go there dont plan anything else for the rest of your day because it will be there all day. SECOND- The job doesnt seem to get done properly, just dont feel satisfied or as if he gave you a great smile when you step out of there. THIRD- they dont seem to care about their patients, being a business owner I WILL TRY MY BEST so my clients can feel satisfied and happy with my job. I called the office, i was unhappy because they wouldnt helpful. So i said fine i will change my dentist, The receptionist had the nerves to say SURE NO PROBLEM...

WORST PLACE EVER!!!! The staff there is very rude and incompetent, the doctor wasnt any better treated me like a piece of meat gave me the worst anesthesia shot ever and now after a month of service I still cant chew or bite from that side. Avoid problems and dont go there. AVOID THIS PLACE! FOR SOME REASON 32BJ UNION MEMBERS AND OTHER PLACES HAVE BEEN TOLD TO GO THERE AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THEIR PRIMARY DENTISTS WILL BE THEM FROM NOW ON. ITS A LIE!! U HAVE DIFFERENT DENTAL OFFICES IN ELIZABETH AND THRU OUT UNION COUNTY. FOR A SIMPLE CAVITY FILL IN THIS PLACE CAUSED MY WIFE A ROOT CANAL!!!! STAY OUT THEYRE HORRIBLE!!

I arrived on time with my 2 sons for 1pm and 1:30 appointments on a Friday afternoon. By 3:30pm we left. We were NOT EVEN CLOSE to being seen by the dentist at Jersey Gardens Dental. The receptionists were very pleasant (They had just started at this job). The waiting room was FULL of people waiting to be seen (as were the treatment rooms). I inquired how many dental hygienists and dentists were on staff. 0 dental hygienists, 1 dentist. Even waiting till 6pm I dont think we would have been seen. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME dont go here.

Really bad experience in this place, the waiting time was horrible, we spent 2 hours there, after those hour and half the dentologist took 5 minutes to do everything for my son. So what was the point To make an appointment and they give you specific time. I asked for a manager to make a official complaint but no one was there to receive to talk to me, that means that no one was supervising at all. Help desk staff: she is terrible, mind and rude. No help at all.
