I love the Summit Medical Group however I have to share my experience from this past Saturday at the new lab in Florham Park. I have to say that I have always been greeted with a smile and have always been helped at this location until this most recent experience. I had an ultrasound appointment scheduled and also lab work. While my ultrasound appointment was wonderful as usual, I had a very unpleasant experience with Donna in the lab department. She was extremely rude with a bad attitude. After checking in the computer and seeing that my order was closed (I had confirmed with my doctor and the lab that the order was opened prior to my appointment) Donna was very nasty, abruptly saying to me: "I dont know what your doctor told you, I am telling you what I am seeing in the computer" in a high and condescending tone. I proceeded to explain to her that I was not only confirmed by my doctor but also by the lab assistant over the phone and I understand that mistakes happen, but she continued with her harsh tone. Her behavior to me as a patient is unacceptable. Her co-worker immediately offered to help and contact her boss to open the order for me, something that Donna never even mentioned (I guess her rudeness was her main concern that day) After her co-worker took over everything was pleasant as usual and her co-worker apologized for the experience, something Donna of course didnt do. Very sad to deal with someone of that nature in healthcare.

There is no doubt this is probably one of the best medical group with brand new facility, good doctors, nurses and staff. But what I had experienced here is more of a billing related problem and hence my 1 star. I went to consult the ENT for a block in my left ear and the ENT took MRI, hearing tests and suggested to have intra tympanic injections 3 times. He also told me that the shots might not really help and its only a try to get back my hearing. I asked about the insurance coverage and he said its covered. Also the MRI was supposed to be covered by insurance. Thats what they said. And after all these, the ENT said that i have to live with the partial hearing loss. I finally got a statement from the group for $3000. Yes after the Insurance (AETNA) paid their part, I was asked to pay 3 grands to only know that my problem cannot be fixed and am back to square one. I know that am responsible to pay for the services I get. But at the end of the day, my insurance paid them and am still paying 3 grands which am sure is way above the deductible. I sincerely wish there is a better billing policy for patients whose problems are not rectified by the doctors.

I had such great care at the foot and ankle group at Livingston. Dr Ross was always on top of things. I had my ankle reconstructed, it was in bad shape.(love the soccer but it didnt love my ankle). I ended up with an infection and Dr Ross took care of it right away and stopped it from being a disaster. His staff are so nice and caring. Laura his receptionist is so nice and helped me get in when it was an emergency. Overall, Im so happy with the care I received. My ankle is so much more stable and doesnt have that right angle look before my surgery. I wish I could attach a before and after picture because you would all be amazed at the difference , I sure am! Once I finish healing, soccer here I come!!! Yes, its so much stronger and yes Ill be able to enjoy soccer with my nieces and nephew (he cant wait and neither can I!!) I just want to thank the whole podiatry department at the Livingston office. Thank you Dr Ross and the whole group. I am so grateful for your care and treatment, and I am grateful to Dr Ross for his skill, knowledge and amazing bed side manners. He makes you feel like the only patient in his office! Sincerely , Cindy K.

Wasted my time here. Drove from Albany NY and was running late because of all the accidents from the snow fall. I called to let them know i was going to be late for my appointment in the Rheumatology office, they told me to come in anyways. I rushed my ass to Florham Park from Albany NY to be told that i couldnt be seen today because i was 15 min late. Then no one had the balls to say that they picked my phone call and told me it was fine and that it wouldnt be a problem if i was late. Im not coming back because I dont like to be lied too and especially if its coming from a Doctor!!!

I would rate this place with 5 stars, if it is easy to find. Driving down south bound, you will not see the Summit Medical Group sign easily, but you will see the BASF company on the left. Turn left on to Florham Park at the light, then turn left again at the next light, THEN you will see Summit Medical Group in front of you. That being said, once in the facility, everything was fine, with professional staff and appropriate services. Doctors run appointments pretty efficiently.

I have followed our great Doctors from Madison Internal to Summit Medical Group. This is an amazing group with so many great doctors, nurses, and staff. Facility is brand new and it ALMOST have every specialists you will be looking for. It is one stop shop which make it extremely convenient. The URGENT CARE is also located in the same building in case you have an urgent matter that can avoid the hospital. Lee up the great work and I definitely recommend this medical group.

The staff was friendly and efficient, my only slight issue was a woman who was supposed to process my blood at the lab after my routine physical put me on hold for several minutes just to chat with her coworker. Not the worst thing, but I can see it annoying some people pressed for time

If you can get past the incredibly RUDE scheduling staff (in most departments) - the only positive about this facility is that they have everything all in one location. But those on the front line- interacting with the patients could not be more apathetic and unhelpful if they tried.
