I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. After a horrible horrible experience somewhere else, Lisa and the front desk staff made me 100% confident and comfortable. They actually fought for me to have a cleaning and for my insurance to look into the other place for false insurance claims. The way they cared and were so passionate was like being supported by a close friend, I think thats why I felt so comfortable. When I finally came in for my cleaning, the girl who did it was so gentle and accommodating. I havent had a cleaning in a long time and I anticipated it being painful. But it wasnt. Doctor Stewart was so laid back and kind. He didnt try to scam me into getting work I didnt need. He talked to me on a personal level and I honestly felt like we made a joint decision about my care. I highly recommend eastern dental.

Ive gone to eastern dental for several years. Through braces and everything. Ive always had a hard time with X-rays because of a small mouth or whatever. And Ive had dental assistants who have accommodated that, one at eastern dental made it super easy on me and did everything she could to make it possible. Today was terrible. A woman of the name Karen would not work with me. She ended up just not even taking the X-rays after three attempts of me gagging on the X-ray. She was extremely rude to me, as well. Thankfully Im not a person who fears dentists, because it would have been an even worse experience. The dentist was still super great, and the lady Joanne who did my cleaning was super sweet. She was gentle and was done so fast. Ill obviously return to eastern dental, and request a different dental assistant.

I met Dr. Stewart today and he was really great. He took time to go out of his way to help with a little detail that meant a lot, during my check up and cleaning with him. Monica always does a beautiful job cleaning, so gentle, thorough and personable, as are all the hygienists and staff. I continue to be so pleased with all my care there. I am especially touched that they are serving our community tomorrow providing children with no dental insurance a cleaning, and checkup and kid friendly experience. Thank you for taking care of our children out there and enjoy the fun! Jane Krong

Took my 4-year-old son for his first-ever dental visit today. Lourdes made a balloon for him out of a latex glove, Dr. Stewart made him feel comfortable, and Monica (the sweetest hygienist ever) made him giggle by tickling his hand with the dental polisher. What more could a mom ask for? We both got checkups and cleanings, and we were in and out within an hour. Pretty impressive.

My family seriously loves this dentist office! My 8 year old who is petrified of doctors did amazing! The assistant and Dr. Chris are amazing people. They made her feel so comfortable. Also, my 5 year old now wants to be a Dentist when she grows up. Ive been there 3x now and every time has been superb. I wish I came here years ago. So much better then the place down the road.

i have found Eastern Dental of Manahawkin to be a wonderful facility. All of the staff there are people orientated. they care about the patient from beginning to end.
