Dr. Matalon is a knowledgeable veterinarian and caring, genuine person. I was visiting from Texas and had to take my cousins sick cat to be euthanized on the last day of my trip. He and his staff have incredible compassion for the animals and their families. He takes time to comfort and patiently explain what he finds during the exam and each step of the procedure. He did not rush through, and I was given any time I needed. After all that, he gave me a hug and carried the empty cat carrier to the car to reassure my cousin it was the right thing to do, and he passed peacefully. I wish he was in Houston, TX, so I could bring my dogs and cat to him.

We have been taking our lab Crosby to Morristown Animal Hospital since he was six weeks old (hes now a very healthy 5 year old). We still take him to Morristown Animal Hospital even after moving an hour away to Manhattan because he gets such good care there. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable, honest, affectionate to the animals and thorough. Crosby loves going to the vet because he gets spoiled with treats and lots of love upon arrival. The doctors do not try to up-sell you on unnecessary services like they do at many places in NYC. I highly recommend Morristown Animal Hospital!

I have two very needy Rhodesian Ridgebacks and I love Morristown Animal Hospital! The doctors are very knowledgeable and gentle and offer different options for care based on price and necessity. Dr. Matalon suggested I get antibiotics from Walgreens for my 110lb. ridgeback rather than from them because it would save me money. You cant beat that! Both of my dogs have been going there since they were puppies and the whole staff knows them. Its a very friendly environment and it is clean and run efficiently. I highly recommend it!

Dr Matalon is amazing with people and pets. My puppy has been under his care since she was 6 months old. And now is a heathly 19 month old dog. All my visits I was greated kindly by the staff. My appointments are adhered to with in a reasonable window. All questions were answered fully and always left felling good about my visit. Would and have recommended. And will continue to.

Docs and staff are equally friendly and warm, and clearly love animals. Our cats have been extremely well cared for through a recent spate of scary illnesses. My family has been coming to MAH since 1970 and the recent transition from Dr. Padover to Dr. Matalons ownership has gone very well. The new building is great, but the old one was a landmark and its a shame to see it torn down.

Nice place, friendly staff, good Vets, place to park your car, affordable. They are caring and gave lots of attention to my dear pet. They have a web platform where you can manage prescriptions and set appointments. Very easy and practical. I recommend.
