Very rude and unprofessional. I walked into the store because I needed a pair of glasses (bought from another store three years ago) fixed and adjusted so I can see comfortably again and drive. I began to explain the situation to the gentleman who greeted me, but he cut me off and snobbily stated "We want nothing to do with them." Now, I can understand not wanting to work on frames that were not bought in your store, but at LEAST have the courtesy to explain this professionally WITHOUT talking down to a potential customer. I was shocked by how easily he blew me off and dismissed me, despite being someone who really needed help with their glasses. Pardon me for not being able to afford one of your high-end frames, but do not treat a person with such disdain. Even if I am ever in the market for expensive glasses, I will not give Eye Design my business, nor will I recommend them to anyone else. I will be finding another place to fix my frames.

Person at front desk was extremely dismissive and rude. I went there to get glasses repaired and the man at the desk told me in a very unpleasant and condescending tone that they dont mend glasses that were not bought in the store. Then when I asked if he knew where I could go to get my glasses repaired he snootily told me no place would if I hadnt bought them in that store and offered no help or even a polite "sorry I wasnt able to help" or "good luck ". As soon as I left the store l found a place very nearby by that not only fixed my glasses for free, but treated me courteously, and the staff were very friendly. Ive never had such discourteous non-service in any store. I am astounded at the unprofessional, condescending demeanor of the receptionist--on top of which gave me absolutely incorrect information and had no idea what he was talking about.

After a few tries elsewhere, my wife and I have been buying our glasses at Eyedesign since we moved from Manhattan several years ago. The shops careful, expert and considerate staff makes eye glass selection and fit an enlightening and enjoyable experience. The stores eyeglass selection is weighted toward high style, more contemporary designs, reflecting their periodic buying trips to Paris, Milan and other global fashion centers. Nonetheless, they have plenty of more classic selections from top, well known brands for traditionalists like myself. Eyedesign also has an excellent optometrist in residence Thursdays and Saturdays, which is very convenient.

Both employees I worked with were fantastic. They were welcoming, accommodating, and attentive. Ive been a glasses wearer since age 4 and Ive never seen a more carefully curated collection of frames. Great selection of high end glasses from mid price range up. I cant say enough good things about the overall vibe and really great staff here. IF you are looking for a great pair of glasses and a knowledgable staff, I highly recommend supporting this business.

The staff at Eye Design are rude, and do not welcome you as a customer unless you are wealthy. The are elitist and arrogant. They will treat you in a demeaning manner and clearly dont want you in there store. I am a middle class executive , highly educated and successful. I cant image how they are treating working class individuals who would like to purchase a nice pair of frames locally in Red Bank.

Choosing the right pair of glasses can be a nightmare but Linda and her store were an absolute dream. She attentively selected five frames for me to try and I loved every pair. We narrowed it down to two pairs and then I went with the more everyday pair. Two days later, my glasses were ready for pick up. I will definitely be going back to get that second pair.

You could try on the most ridiculous inappropriate frames here and the owner would tell you look great at $1500.00 for frames + $500.00 for lenses a little objective honesty should be included. The service and quality are good. Bring a friend for an honest opinion. Also you could spend twenty grand here and they would not offer you a discount.
