I cannot say enough about Dr. George and the care he has given my family and I. For nearly two years I and my entire family have been living to our maximum health potential by visiting our chiropractor, Dr. George Lubertazzo in Rutherford, New Jersey. I was not aware of the natural healing power of chiropractic care, until I had my first child.Prior to that my only association with chiropractors were that you go to them after an accident to fix your back. But that mindset soon changed. Twelve weeks after I had my first born son, I enrolled him into daycare. He was there five days a week 8 to 10 hours a day. Unbeknownst to his dad and I, the whole household would soon be under siege with all types of illnesses. At least twice a month I received a phone call from the center saying my son had a fever, possible ear infection, shortness of breath, excessive runny nose, etc. During Leos first year, he relied heavily on the nebuliser to offset the beginnings of what looked like asthma. Frustrated by my sons health, I vented to anyone who would listen. On one occasion, my boss gave me advice to see her chiropractor for a holistic alternative. Confused as to how that could help I gave it a try. After going routinely for about a month, I noticed I felt better, had more energy, and I soon became the only one in the household not getting sick. My husband was unsure of the chiropractor adjusting our child so he did not agree to it at first. But when our son was hospitalized with acute pneumonia, he decided to give it a try. So I took my son and lo and behold within a month of my son going to the chiropractor, he stopped getting sick. No more $20 co pays for the pediatrician every 2 weeks, no more nebuliser, just a happy and healthy kid. Since going, he has not received any flu shots either. At first it was not intentional, since he was not really going to the doctor no one bothered to give him a shot, plus his birthday is in the summer and the vaccines are not available at the time. And to be perfectly honest I do not want him getting it anyway, although my husband feels otherwise. In 2 years, my son had one fever (after being down the shore for one week with his grandparents and not getting adjusted) and about 2 cases of pinkeye; otherwise he hasnt needed any other unnecessary medication. When I became pregnant the 2nd time around. I was adjusted during my pregnancy and my youngest was adjusted within his first week of life. My youngest son whos been in daycare since he was 10 weeks old, has had no ear infections and just 1 fever above 101 (he had rosella which we used over the counter medication to treat). Grant needed a nebuliser during the winter months to alleviate a cough but once spring sprung; nature cleared that up for him. Aside from a cold here and there, my baby successfully fought off diseases and believe me his daycare class was a walking, crawling, babbling lab full of germs.

I was very disappointed with the chiropractic care I got from Dr. George Lubertazzo. I had lower back pain for about a week before I decided to give chiropractic a try. The doctor took some x-rays and told me I had three bones misaligned in my spine hence the pain. After the very first adjustment, my pain got worse but he kept assuring me that it was part of the healing process. I probably got 6 to 7 more adjustments and came to a point where the pain got so excruciating that I could not walk, sit or sleep. I had painful spasms all night and missed a whole week of work. When I decided to get a second opinion from my primary doctor, I asked Dr. Robert for my X Rays to discuss with my physician, but when my physician opened the envelope he found one unreadable X-Ray and the other one was very poorly taken. I guess the story of three bones being misaligned may not have been a fact because he erased all the lines and notes he had made on my x-ray while discussing it with me, but he did not want my physician to see that. I lost 300 dollars, suffered excruciating pain all night for two weeks!! getting out of bed every morning was a nightmare as the pain was unbearable. Finally, I went to my physician who had an MRI done, it was confirmed that I had a herniated disc. While Dr. George was treating me for " three misaligned bones" .

A wonderful chiropractor and a wonderful human being, this man is passionate about what he does, and genuinely cares about the health and well-being of each and every one of his patients. If youre away on vacation or move a distance, he wants you to find SOMEbody who knows their stuff to continue adjusting you, because clearly he feels that its not just about him, its about your health. Skeptical about chiropractic? To be honest, so was I my first time over ten years ago. I went somewhat out of desperation combined with finally giving in to several family members who had been telling me to go. Dr. George has you watch a very brief video during your first visit which very quickly makes you start to realize, "Hmmm, that does make sense....", but it was the actual experience that convinced me of the value of what he does. Walking out of his office after my first adjustment, I actually felt a physical difference in my balance! Going regularly, there has been a noticeable difference in my overall health. Let me tell you, acupuncture and chiropractic is the perfect combination for both preventative medicine and also non-invasive treatment of a surprisingly diverse array of medical conditions. I have been getting adjusted since 2013 by Dr. George and it has really been one of the best decisions I have made. He is very thorough and takes his time to explain chiropractic and what he is doing. He could tell what kind of symptoms I was having, like horrible headaches, just by finding what bone was out of alignment without me telling him. He explained that chiropractic is for everyone of every age, it is not just to treat any symptoms. I still get checked by Dr. George on a regular basis to stay healthy and plan and continuing!

Dr. George opened my eyes to the world of chiropractic and living a healthy lifestyle. He does not treat you like a regular patient, but like a family member. He takes his time to explain what chiropractic actual is and he shows he cares. The great thing about the office is that after the initial visit and x-ray report, I am in and out of the office in less than 5 minutes. After an adjustment, I feel like a new person from the inside out. If you want to be healthy, Dr. George is the man to see!

Dr. George is a very passionate and educating doctor. When I started, I had severe migraines that not even my neurologist could help with. I did not know the power of an adjustment. It has been 8 months now, and I feel like a whole new different person inside and out. Theres more to chiropractic than "back pain" as people assume. He taught me that it is about being healthy and having your body work to the best of its ability.
