After a terrible experience at another local vet we were so nervous about taking our beloved Charlie to a new vet because he was so scared and nervous. After speaking on the phone with someone they suggested we bring Charlie in to the vet for no reason, just so he could meet the doctor, get a few belly rubs, and realize that it was a safe place. Upon entering they were so helpful and friendly and when it was time to meet the doctor Charlie was so relaxed. The doctor got right down on his knees and greeted Charlie and immediately put him at ease. It was then I knew we found our new vet. Then to top it off, on our second visit Charlie had a small growth on his lip, which our previous vet said MUST be removed and was rather costly. But at Sea Girt the doc said no need and that it was only a virus and would just go away. He actually got out a book to double check and sat with us going through some other options. We really appreciated the time he put into it and that he didnt rush us into anything. And even better was that he was right and within a week it was gone and we saved a lot of money. Bringing your pet to Sea Girt will be a decision you will not regret.

I love Sea Girt Animal Hospital. They are super with my new rescue dog Cody. He is a very shy unsure 6 month old puppy, the Techs and Dr.s are very very patient with him. I called up for an appointment and they were very accommodating to the time that worked best for us. One time Cody had an emergency, and I called up, we got in that morning. The doctors (and techs) are detailed about explaining what they are doing whether it be inoculations, medications, or just the exam. They explain the growth and what will occur during that time frame. I also like the billing that shows the upcoming dates for the booster shots, and heartworm pills etc. I had an older dog Buddy, whom I had to send to doggy heaven, and the staff was so great, we had 5 of our family members gathering to say goodbye, and the staff waited until we were ready. Nobody is ever really ready, but they didnt push to get us to hurry the process. After all said and done about 2 weeks later we got a card with his paw print on it. What a great thing to do. Im so glad that I found Sea Girt Animal Hospital. Great experience. Wouldnt go anywhere else!!!!!

My boys, Bruno & Bruster Brown, have been with Seagirt Animal Hospital since they were eight weeks old, and we have consistently received exemplary care. I would just like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional assistance provided by the entire staff at Seagirt Animal Hospital in regard to issuing the mandated documentation and immunizations required prior to allowing my boys entry into the Green Acres Nursing and Rehab Facility to visit my husband. I cannot express enough how much their appearance in my husbands room affected him, and literally worked wonders toward his recovery. The Seagirt staff truly went out of their way with numerous phone calls, issuing and faxing the documentation, just to ensure I had what was required at a most critical time in my life, and I will never forget what they did for my husband and I. I have recommended this facility to many, and will continue to do so! Dian Turner An added update to this review, my boys had their annual shots this week, and Dr. Yurkus was wonderful as always! This has to be one of the best Animal Hospitals around, the staff is WONDERFUL!

I have been a client with this amazing Animal Hospital, since 1998. Dr Weber set the standards very high, and the new owners ( Past five years) have truly keep her concepts and further enhanced the hospital. My present Shih Tzu Madison , has been a client since puppyhood. She is five years old now , and loves visiting her Favorite Dr Ackerman. The Techs are caring and sweet. Madison is treated like family. Added to this team , is a GROOMER! Terry Huges. Terry has been grooming Madison since she was 4 months old. It is essential that your Pups first bath and Grooming , is a positive experience. Madison cannot wait to have her Spa day!!!!! It is a great comfort to have my Dog Groomed with a caring and professional person. The peace of mind I have knowing she could not be in a saver place, than at her Vets is PRICELESS!!!!! I have had two occasions to have visited Sea Girt Animal Hospital during the last three months. The First occasion ended sadly for me - my cat, Oliver had to be put to sleep. Sea Girt Animal Hospital was enormously helpful and gentle with the demise of my cat - they treated my cat with the dignity of you losing a family member - Thank You Everyone at the Hospital. The Second occasion was last week, when I had to bring in my other cat (brother of the cat who had to be put to sleep) because he appeared sluggish and had a rash over his right eye. I was a bit apprehensive because the last time I brought a cat in it ended tragically. Well the doctor put me at complete easy, he when out of his way to completely explain to me Wilfred illness [the doctor saw I a was a bit anxious and he addressed it] .He gave Wilfred an antibiotic and a cream for the rash and told me if it did not work just call day or night. End story Wilfred was his usual energetic self in few days - Thanks Doctor Ackerman!

Piper is a new member at Sea Girt Animal Hospital. She is a very nervous little girl who we rescued. She did not even want to come out from underneath the chair the first time we visited. The staff has been nothing but amazing each time we visited. They are sweet and calm with her making her feel more and more comfortable each time. She always leaves with her tail wagging and a special little treat for being such a great patient :) We have also had emergencies where we needed to call and see someone on that day we have never had a problem the answer is always to bring her right in which is a big relief for someone who is nervous about every little thing. They have also coached me through many many questions of being a first time dog owner on our own and everything has been very positive, never pushing anything we feel uncomfortable about. Thank You Sea Girt Animal Hospital for being so great!

The entire staff at Sea Girt Animal Hospital is very professional and friendly. The doctors are extremely caring and will take the time to address all of your concerns. I have 2 dogs, Rusty and Hunter, and they love Dr. Sabia. She gives them hugs and kisses and makes sure they are content before she does anything. I also have a cat, Callie. She too is very calm and at ease there. If you have any questions or concerns, you can call the office at any time and the staff will help you however they can. If they dont have the answer, they will get one for you or have a doctor call you back. They are very accommodating for appointment times as well. If you are looking for a great vet experience for your pet, I recommend Sea Girt Animal Hospital. They love your animals as if they were their own!! Ive been taking my pets there for over 8 years and I have not one complaint!!!
