I used to take my dogs to one of the other animal hospitals in the area, you know the one with the flashy new building and before that a place further away. I always figured that bigger was better. I never really understood what they were doing for my dogs there. Well, one day my dog was very sick and they couldnt get me in until later in the day. So, on a whim I called Jackson Veterinary Clinic to see if they could see my dog sooner even though I was not a current client. They were able to fit me in that very same hour. I wont go into detail about what was wrong with my dog but the doctors and staff were not only able to help me and my dog but they explained exactly what was wrong with him and how the treatment worked. My dog made a rapid recovery and I am pleased to say he is sitting next to me on the couch this very moment. Since then I have continued to take both of my dogs to Jackson Veterinary Clinic for all of their vaccinations and check-ups. They are both healthier, happier and more fit and trim than ever. I now know and understand my dogs needs allowing me to care for them properly. In my time going to the "other place" I never knew that my dogs were overweight. The doctors at Jackson Veterinary Clinic helped me to outline a proper diet and exercise schedule for my dogs. Long story short, I wont take my dogs anywhere else again. The staff and doctors at Jackson Veterinary Clinic are wonderful and I urge anyone who asks to see for themselves.

I have been taking my cats to this clinic for 20 years and can not say enough about how nice they are. From the vets to the office staff, they are caring, knowledgeable and compassionate. When I need emergency work, they always try to fit me in. When my cats have been in for surgery or any kind of worrisome procedure or treatment, they always call after I bring the animal home to see how he or she is doing. I love the way they handle and talk to the animals when they are treating them - pretty much the way I talk to them at home! They also take the time to answer my questions and talk to me about what is going on with my animal. If I call to ask a question and someone is unable to answer me immediately, the vet always takes the time to return my call when they are free. The office, examination rooms, and operating rooms are clean and well-kept. All in all, you can not go wrong taking your pet to this clinic.

I was used to going to a really nice animal hospital, however it is far and my dog is not able to do car rides like he use to so I decided to take it to a nearby veterinary clinic. ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT IT IS WORST VETERINARY CLINIC EVER, doctor does not even know how to check the dog for a regular checkup. DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME. SHE didnt even know the basic disease for the dog. She needed to get a basic booklet full of basic dog diseases......... THE INTERNET IS A BETTER DOCTOR.. -_- and after the checkup she said my dog was healthy, it is infected with fleas, vomiting, and has tapeworms.

The doctors here are the best in NJ! They are compassionate and kind, genuinely care for animals and love the work they do. The facility is clean and quaint. The staff are wonderful. We are moving across country and dont know how we will ever find another vet that even comes close to the professionalism and integrity that this office encompasses. Love love love!!

Hands down the best..they truly care about the animals, the staff is wonderful and Drs Peltier and Vogel are extremely knowledgeable. Dr P has such a way with animals, shes compationate,professional and just amazing..I wouldnt trust my babies with anyone else but here.

They are under new ownership. Took a dog to them today and had a good experience. Not in it just for the money. Didnt want a lot of test. Knew what was wrong and did just the tests to confirm it. There fee is lower then some in the area.
