Dr. Fischer was first recommended to me by the chiropractor / acupuncturist who was helping me during my own chemotherapy treatment for colon cancer. My 12-year-old poodle Ollie had suffered the canine equivalent of a blown ACL while celebrating my return from surgery running on the local ballfield. Even though he had a round of steroid treatment and wasnt running or jumping, he still couldnt bear his normal weight on that leg. After the first chiropractic treatment, Ollie could walk normally for the first time in weeks. We continued to see Dr. Fischer until Ollies death 2 years later; my next poodle Moose was also his patient - as are my current rescue dog (Cody) and cat (Eve). I trust Dr.Fischer and his team - and would recommend Hillsdale Animal Hospital to any pet parent seeking a caring, expert veterinarian.

Dr Fischer is a terrific vet. He is knowledgeable about holistic practices, but will prescribe Western medications when necessary. He supports raw feeding, minimal vaccinations, and owners who think critically about their pets care. Hes available via phone and email. His staff is kind and competent. The only drawback is that he is the sole vet in the practice, so if hes on vacation when you need to see him, youre out of luck. I have found, though, that working with Kenny has kept my dogs so healthy that the emergencies tend to be of the "my dog cut his pad while running through the woods" variety, and getting that injury cleaned up and bandaged is no big deal.

Dr. Fischer is the most caring vet We have ever taken our animals to. He has attended our German Shepherd Emma four close to 9 years. We love his wholestic approach and the fact that he doesnt do unnecessary tests just to pad his bill. Dr. Fischer will take all the time you and your pet need. He answers all questions and educates when possible. We love Dr.Fischer. When I tell Emma we are going to see him she runs to the car. He is very gentle with her and spent time earning her trust. I love Dr. Fischer and the entire staff at Hillsdale Animal Hospital. Dr. Fischer takes a holistic approach to veterinary medicine and takes the time to discuss and explain all aspects of your pets health, including diet and nutrition, vaccination schedule and frequency, and all the options and alternatives if your pet faces a chronic or acute health problem. He was incredibly helpful and compassionate when we had to make difficult decisions as our older dog declined in health. I often wish that the humans in my family had access to the same level of care that our pets enjoy with Dr. Fischer.

He has been my vet for over 20 years and approaches issues in your dog from a holistic perspective and tries to find the root of the problem, instead of medicating to treat symptoms. My husband and I took our Siberian Husky Pearl to see dr. Fischer yesterday, I loved him from the get go, he took his time with Pearl and he even did acupuncture on her, she was ok with it. His approach to her care is exactly what I have been looking for in a vet. We scheduled another appointment with him, I am very pleased with his service and his staff. He is everything that the reviews here say he is! Thank you dr. Fischer, we will see you in 2 weeks. It was a pleasure to have come to this place.

Dr. Fischer VDM is incredibly knowledgeable in not only Traditional Veternary Medicine but also, alternative, holistic, chiropractic and acupuncture techniques. He gives an animal lover the ability to care for their pets HEALTH not just treat symptoms when things go badly. I have had the honor of knowing this VET for 15 years and have NEVER been disappointed with our pets care. AND as for COMAPSSION oh my goodness he loves your pet almost as much as you do!!!

Dr. Fischer always takes the necessary time to evaluate our dogs and address their issues. Best of all, he takes a holistic approach to veterinary care and will often offer alternative solutions (not medication/pharmaceuticals) which align with our philosophy about health care. Dr. Fischer also checks in during off hours when necessary which we appreciate. Chiropractic, acupuncture and other modalities are available -- all good!!

Dr Fischer is a rare find. He takes a much more holistic approach to veterinary medicine than any other vet weve ever experienced. He is patient, thorough, and educates his families so that they understand their pets health needs/treatment plans without pushing unnecessary vaccinations. I have been bringing my cat to Hillsdale Animal Hospital for about 1.5 years. I love talking to Dr. Fischer - hes always willing to discuss my cats health and treatment at length and in detail. And the staff are always great, too. And the homeopathic approach suits my cat wonderfully.
