What can I say??no words to describe how pathetic the staff are when calling..they never answer the phone and when they do,they just transfer you to an answering machine. I had my baby a month ago and when He was 3 weeks old He started to feel very warm to me,He didnt want to wake up for feeding.I called them to see if the Doctor could see Him and the first time they answered the phone the person that answered told me she was going to transfer me to the Doctor but no one picked up the phone then I waited 15 minutes and called again since I left a voicemail saying I needed a call back to see if they could see my baby that day and the same lady that had answered the first time I called told me that they could not see him that day because I needed an appointment and to take him to the ER so I did and it was the same thing in there,they poked my baby about 4 -5 times trying to find a vein to draw blood and they could not find anyhting and at the end they told us that there was nothing they could do and that they were going to transfer Him to Robert Wood. He had a fever of 102.5 which is too much for a baby his age;and so He was transfered in the ambulance to Bristol Myers childrens Hospital which is same Robert Wood and there they did everything they had to do the same moment we got there..we felt as we were in the right place and they were all loving and caring towards our baby and us..we were there with our baby for 10 days since He had to be admitted due to an infection in his blood stream and He needed to be with antibiotics for that time..dont ever go to Somerset,go directly to Robert Wood in New Brunswick..they are the best...

So, I havent been to an ER in over 30 yrs. Went last week due to severe abdominal pain. When released I followed up yesterday with this practice. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL! Loved the doctor but some of the office staff should not be in the medical field. They dont know what they are doing! I just called today because where I had pain, I now have extreme bruising. I mean its black. Try to get a hold of someone to speak with on the phone, wow! You have to lie & say you want to make an appointment or it will just kick your call to an answering service (another story but they are also horrible). Waiting..... waiting for a call back to see if I should be concerned. The office will have a nurse call me back? Granted, Ive neglected my health & havent had a primary doctor in years (he moved). But after this - I wont be using Somerset Family Practice as my primary. I liked the doctor & many staff seem nice but it seems more like a meat market than a professional building. God forbid someone needs serious help, DONT GO HERE!

First of all, they never answer their phone during business hours. If you leave messages, they wont call you back. Every time someone has actually answered the phone, I was on hold for at least 4 minutes prior to them answering. The elderly woman at the reception desk is always extremely rude and condescending. Once I brought my baby in for an appointment that was at 2:00pm with her normal doctor there, when I checked in at the reception desk I was accused of being wrong about my appointment time and that it was really at 3:00pm, when I was 100% positive it was at 2:00pm. Had to come back an hour later and wound up with a doctor that wasnt whom we made the appointment with. They changed the appointment without notifying me. The regular doctor weve seen there was nice... but "nice" is the only positive feedback I can give her. Overall, this place is horrible and every experience I have had there and dealing with them has been such a hassle. Switching to a new family practice this week.

very very disappointed with this place I needed a prenatal docter an they had me down for the wrong one i said the whole time i was there for hour i am preganet an having pains in my stomach they sent me away an said theres nothing we can do today because Im not a prenatal docter really....I call back the next day I been calling sans that day for over 2 weeks have not hard back from them im not sure.if.any one would wana give birth at this hostipal terrible terrible people working there with bad attuide they act like they dont care.....if any one tells you this is a good place they are lieing go to another place trust me you will have better care.........

The only one that seems to know what they are doing around there is the lady in referrels. The front staff are extremely lazy, rude and unorganized. If they paid more attention to their work instead of food, then maybe theyll get somewhere! One even had the nerve to be glued to her cell phone while the business phone was ringing and being unattended to. I wish I could make this stuff up!

I cant believe it, the worse customer service ever... I thought because they changed the name it was going to get better nope. Went to their website to get an appt. impossible , I had to go in person to get it . 2 weeks to get my results from a physical and still waiting. trying to contact them impossible . Im going to try the RWJ in New Brunswick that one has good reviews .

Dr Wu is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. I have been her patient for at least 15 years and she is the most compassionate and caring doctors. She takes what ever time that is needed with u to make a diagnosis and will research further options if needed. The only problem is she is in such high demand I usually have to wait longer to see her but so worth it

Very difficult to speak with a staff by calling. You will get either to an answering system or to the main hospital operator. Even you got someone to speak with by selecting the option that is not matching, she will likely to interrupt your sentence and trying to hang up quickly, without showing any willingness to help.

Made an appointment for my 6 month old last week for April 25 at 145 show up at 135 and the sign says closed until 2. Why would you make appointments for when youre closed? Horrible customer service and my daughter can never see the same doctor and Im always here for two or three hours. For sure switching doctors

Consistent long wait times is the main gripe. I have shown up for 2 appointments only to be told "sorry, did someone call you to reschedule?!" Very frustrating. I have my last appointment scheduled for next week and that will be the end of it.

Calling this office to schedule an appt is the worse!!! Ive been on hold and counting 16 minutes and havent spoke to anyone yet!!!! If my dr worked at another practice I would definitely go there and stop going to this location.

This office is ran horribly! Dont bother calling, theyll have u on hold for half an hour only to give you an appointment 2weeks away. ..then I finally get my appointment only to find out that theyre closed. ..unreal
