My inlaw has been in Merry Heart for 2-weeks for assistance in walking. As of today, they have not done anything for her. Shes still in bed, with a feeding tube (2 months now). Which they wont take out because they said she throws up. She is not disabled or handicapped. Before her surgery (2months ago) she was driving, walking, etc. Now shes been in bed for 2 months and cant walk or stand and their not feeding her regular food. You ask questions, no one knows anything. They told me this was the best place for rehab. I say not.

The first thing you notice in the dementia ward is the smell, then get ready for some 1950s nursing care. The pride themselves on offering nothing in the way of wellness or mental stimulation for patients. They offer shelter, food and keep the patient clean, but beyond that they got nothing. If you dare to ask for anything you are told to leave. I would not board my dog there.

My brother did rehab from surgery at MH. They are a 5 star facility. Staff & management are caring, warm, nurturing, responsive and professional. You can feel the Christian love & attitude. Thanks MH.
