I have literally been going to Dr.Solomon since he began his practice without fail. Over the years he has seen me through many, many different pets and even more experiences with each of these animals. I currently have two cats Angel and Kovu that he has been taking care of for more than 15 years! Also I currently have 3 dogs Rowdie and Baxter each will be 8 and Steven who will be 7. None of them have been to another vet except for an emergency with Northstar. I am lost and have no idea where to turn now. The last time we were there was about 2 to 3 weeks ago just prior to his wifes passing. I cant believe I will never be there again, a place I have been going since its opening or that I will never see him again. I was there so very often with all of the pets I have! He was a character! I thoroughly enjoyed my trips there and always looked forward to seeing him. My favorite story happened several years ago while I was in the waiting room an older woman came in with a kitten for its initial shots and check up. She had her grandson with her who had a little plastic bug box with him and some sort of beetle or s something in it. Dr. Solomon bent down to talk to the little boy and told him he would not charge for the shots or visit if he just let the bug go free outside!!! A BUG!!! I am crying as I am writing this and cried hysterically half the day Monday when I heard. I dont know what happened and would love to pay my respects if there will be a service, I would love to know. RIP doctor.

Excellent vet doctor and remarkable human being. When we came to NJ 8 years ago, everybody recommended him as the best vet around, so we took our dogs to him from the beginning. Everybody expects competence, of which he has in spades, but we were surprised by the level of empathy he has, for the animals he treats and for their humans. I could not hope for better care for my pets. And yes, he charges well below what we were used to paying before and what we were charged when he recommended second opinions (10 times less in one case). The offices are not fancy, but I would not expect high design when it makes you wonder how can he stay in business which such low fees. He is obviously someone who dedicated his life to caring for animals, not to fattening his pockets by taking advantage of the owners love for their pets. A breed on the brink of extinction, Im afraid.

Had my 9month old chocolate lab spayed there. Dr Solomon is old and is not capable of doing surgeries. First of all he could not remove both of the ovaries. Second he said if she comes in heat and starts bleeding then he will get someone else to perform the surgery the 2nd time but would cover the expenses. He removed her stiches on 3/28/16 and on 3/30/16 my wife noticed that her stich wound reopened. Never going back to Solomon again. He needs to retire. I would give 0 stars.

How do you get intouch with theses people? Answering machine says do not leave a message, iv been searching for an email or web site to contact? My animal shelter in South Jersey got two dogs in , picked up in Merchantville by animal control over the 4th of July weekend. One of the dogs has a rabies tag linked to Solomon animal hospital. Im desperate to find the owners of these beauties. They are well cared for and someone has to be missing them. Please help

He is the greatest vet i ever met my doggie was very very sick and i didnt have alot of money he took me any way he said to i wont leave my dog sick because of the money he put a big smile on my daughters face because he baby could get the medical help she needed. I have to thank him for saving one of our family members and making them better dr.Solomon you are the greatest vet in the world

R.I.P. Doctor Soloman, Ive also have been going to Dr. Solomon for somewhere around 30 yrs. Excellent man who really showed compassion for the animals he treated. His prices were always better than fair. There were a couple times when I was low on money and he always said to me: pay me what you can, when you can. Their will never be another Dr. Solomon............Rest In Peace Doc. ☮️

Ive been going to him for many years always a good doctor but a very busy one..there are no appointments its all walk in and wait,they rarely answer the phone.So if your going go early..its something everyone in the area knows...You almost never get in and out but you get good service..So be prepared to wait with a room full of other dogs and cats...
