I had gone to the same dentist my entire life until one day I changed jobs and got an insurance that was not accepted there. I was forced to change dentists and chose this place, Dental Care of Vineland. That was a terrible mistake, as I would have been better off paying out of pocket at my current dentist. I came to Dental Care of Vineland and had the worst dental care of my life, on multiple occasions. It took more than three dentists on my first visit for them to remove a cavity. THREE DENTISTS (whoever was working on me kept going and calling the other dentists over to look at it), and over an hour and a half in the chair, with one of those plastic things holding my mouth stretched out. After this, I ended up needing a root canal in the same tooth, which I stupidly went back to them for, which they screwed up getting out as well, further damaging my tooth. They also messed up putting on the crown. It is now four years later, and after multiple accesses and infections from this tooth, I was forced to have it pulled. I have not chewed on the left side of my mouth for over four years, and now have lost a tooth from their careless work. I never went back there again and would not request for my worst enemy to go there. I feel like they feel the need to give you cookies when youre done so you dont remember what a horrible experience you have. I didnt go to a dentist for over two years after this experience because it was awful, and when I did I went back to my original dentist and paid out of pocket, because it was 100 times a better experience even if it was more expensive.

I had a bunch of Dental procedures done at Dental Care Of Vineland and for the most part they were great. They took x-rays of My Mouth and explained what needed to be done so I agreed to get everything done because I did let My Mouth go for so long and I really didnt enjoy the fact if I didnt do it one day all my teeth would be gone for good and thats not something I really want to do. My Insurance aint the greatest I only get $1,500 a year so most of the expense would be coming from out of My own pocket. I needed two teeth filled, 2 Root Canals, extensive cleanings and a Bridge with two Crowns. Total Cost out of My own pocket would be almost 2 Grand. I had everything done except the 1 Root canal with a Crown and a Bridge but when they got into the root canal they decided that tooth was way to far gone and should be pulled. Needless to say now that the tooth is gone there is no need to do the root canal the crown or the Bridge at which I had already paid for in full with My CareCredit account. I have a $750.00 Credit I can use to get a Partial but Im just not sure I want to go that route at this point so I like them to just credit my carecredit account. All in all they are really professional and friendly staff.

They did a filling 3 weeks ago. The dentist waited until he filled my tooth to tell me the filling was "deep" and the tip of the filling was touching the nerve and I might need a root canal. Why he waited until he filled it to tell me, he should have told me before starting the filling. Now its been 3 weeks and with my mouth still in pain and sleepless nights I believe I need the root canal and Im pissed! If they would have told me before hand Id have given permission to do the canal since my insurance would have paid. But now Im out of luck because the filling used the last of my insurance now anything else has to come out of pocket. I feel they were sneaky just to make that extra buck. Thanks for a terrible job, a painful mouth and empty pockets!

I called to reschedule my appointment, Im a single mother working the graveyard shift. My car broke down on me last night and I had a 9 am appointment. I called at 8 no answer so I called again at 8:30. Naomi was really rude. I explained to her that my car wasnt working and can I please reschedule my appointment and the disrespectful response I got shocked me. She said I cant reschedule because Im calling last minute. Also said that if I reschedule again that, that slot could go to someone whos going to actually show and that deserves it. As well as that I should be sure that I can make it to my appointment next time. I will not be going back. I also will never recommend this dentists office to anyone. It was straight out disrespectful.

Great with Children! My entire family has used this dentist for about 12 years now. We were always very satisfied. When I had my son I brought him there when his teeth came in. I wanted to see how it went before looking into a pediatric dentist. He loved it there! They have TV for the kids to watch, everyone is friendly, a goody bag at the end to reward good behavior....and hot Mrs. Fields cookies when your checking out. He is almost 11 and looks forward to his appointment. They participate with our dental insurance and are always clear about pricing prior to scheduling the next appointment. I have had to cancel last minute because emergencies came up and NEVER been billed cancelation fee.

Dental procedures are ok. However they have this habit of overcharging and then getting more money back from the insurance company than they had expected. They do credit the money to your account but dont let you know until your next visit. Now if you change dentist or dont go back for a long time. That money stays in their pocket and you will never know. Personally I believe that the proper way of handling this is to mail the patient a check. I left them for exactly that reason.

Ridiculous Cancellation Fee! I called their office today to cancel my appointment for this afternoon because I had two people call out of the work this morning and was unable to leave the office. When I called and explained my situation they tried to charge me $100 cancellation fee. My boss was understanding of the situation and gave me permission to leave, but after today, they will never see my face again.

Do not use this dentist. Multiple times I have had appointments and had to wait up to 45 mins and even left a few times. Also, had a scheduled appointment for which I left work early. I got there and they had me scheduled for another random day even though I had the reminder text message from them showing the day I came. They basically said sorry and did nothing about it. Horrible scheduling!

The dental hygienists here are amazing... The doctors however, eh. Dr. Brown is wonderful and very patient with children but Dr. Millan is not and I do not recommend him if youre looking for a dentist that has compassion for their patients or good with children. I guess its hit or miss with your experience here. Would have given 5 stars if I didnt have the negative experience with Dr. Millan.
