I have been a patient at Dental Care of Stratford since 2012, and since coming here, I have lost 3 teeth due to their lack of compassion for patients that are struggling to afford dental care. Due to my most recent experience on November 16th, I will no longer be using them as my Dental care provider. Their staff lacks empathy and are downright rude. The facility in Stratford, NJ is far from “state of the art” and friendly. As far as professionalism goes, they just don’t have it; I have actually had the building lose power during an extraction and the dentist kept going on with the procedure in the dark. Their website claims to focus on “preventative care” and that the office provides an environment to make you feel at ease about your dental work- well that’s a lie. The reason I have had 3 teeth extracted during my time with this practice is because I was unable to pay for the expensive crowns that I needed for those teeth- when I was declined for the medical credit card, they simply shrugged their shoulders and told me to call when I had the money to complete the procedures- $8,000 worth of dental work and that was after my dental insurance paid for some of it. I asked numerous times if they could work with me and do an in-house payment plan because I just couldn’t afford to pay all of that in one sitting, and they again, just shrugged their shoulders and said they didn’t do that there. So, I went without the dental care I needed because I felt stuck and like I had no options. They didn’t offer me any help- any sort of support- and zero preventative measures were taken to avoid me losing my teeth. Little did I know that this was unusual for dentist offices! Aside from their unattainable treatment costs, their staff never once made me feel at ease or comforted- and when I was in on Monday, not only did my dentist, Sandra Harmon, tell me that I should’ve come in sooner- and then shrugged her shoulders when I told her the reason was because I couldn’t afford to, and that they refused to work with me on payments, but the front desk associate showed zero empathy when she smiled and asked “How did I make out” while she was writing me a referral for an oral surgeon to have a tooth extracted. I have also has numerous issues with their emergency care, and their answering service- with rude people telling me that I wasn’t a patient there, when I have been for 3 years, and issues with antibiotics never being called in. This entire practice has truly left the worst taste in my mouth from start to finish and I am so happy to say that I have since found a wonderful practice that not only provides superior service, but understands that dental work is very expensive and works with their patients so that they keep their teeth- rather than lose them like this horrible dental facility does.

Front desk staff is really very nice but I do NOT recommend going here. The wait time is always very long and dental assitants go in and out of your exam rooms side door to smoke throughout the appointment which really bothers me. Especially in the winter when the cold chill and smokey air enter back into the exam room. I understand booking overlapping appointments but It is frustrating when the dentists are in and out of 3 peoples mouths at the same time or when you are left in a room with jerry springer on the tv for over 2 and a half hours. (2 years of visits and no improvements still)

Agree with what is said about Dr. Lee. At first she makes you feel comfortable but she barely lets you explain what your issues may be and most of the time you leave the office without any solution to pain or problems your having with your teeth. She seems fairly young and am guessing she hasnt had her credentials for very long, in other words she seems to have little experience. If your looking to find an answer to your dental issues right away this is not the place to go.

Complete waste of time coming here for the last few months. Had fillings done, severe throbbing pain followed. Was told over the course of 9 weeks that I did not need a root canal. After the last visit that went nowhere, I saw another dentist literally 2 days later who showed me all the inflammation of the nerve inside the tooth of which was causing pain. Previous employees have left reviews talking about how unethical this location is.

Made an emergency visit for excruciating tooth pain and was denied adequet pain relief...Dr Lee went on to say "I dont want to give you antibiotics and medication because you will not come back" and "said the last time you came to the office was 2015"! Well Dr. Lee are you the one paying the bills for me??!! She was very rude, judgmental, would barely allow me talk, and was very insensitive!!!!

Everyone from the receptionist to the dental hygienist to the dentists are helpful and kind. They get to know you as an individual and take care of your needs. They also offer emergency dental care.
