Im a 56 year old, former college football player with lots of old injuries, aches and pains which occasionally rear their heads. When Im hurting, Dr. Ray sees the way Im standing and immediately knows whats bothering me. More importantly, he knows what to do about it. Im convinced that without him, I would have needed to consider surgery, traction, or other long term debilitating procedures (debilitating to my pocketbook as well as my body). Dr. Milazzo is a consummate professional, but what I knew of his expertise in maintaining and improving a patients health took a surprising turn in 2011. My medical doctors began finding irregularities in my lab tests which indicated a rare blood disorder coupled with serious problems with my liver. They ordered a sonogram of my liver, then a liver biopsy (a piece of my liver was actually sent to the Mayo Clinic). Long story short: I was in serious trouble, but the doctors couldnt seem to come up with an effective treatment plan addressing my problems. In January 2011 I collapsed and needed to be taken from my home in an ambulance. This scared the daylights out of me, but after coming back home, I still had no idea what to do and my doctors still didnt provide me with a treatment plan that could correct the problems. I felt as if I was going to collapse again, and I was becoming very demoralized. I finally discussed my situation with Dr. Ray, and he sent me for blood tests to be studied by him and his associate. The lab took seven vials of blood. To be honest, I was kind of skeptical, but the following week Dr. Ray sat down with me and went through an exhaustive report (12 pages I recall) about my overall health. I finally learned exactly what was going on in my body. And that same report presented me with a treatment plan which included numerous (natural) supplements, a change in diet, and above all, some reason to hope that my health and my life could improve. As I write this review at the end of 2011, I can honestly say that I am looking forward to 2012 with renewed hope and confidence. My liver has improved, and so has the blood disorder, and I am out of serious danger. I am also sleeping better, and getting back to exercising at the gym. One more thing should be said about Dr. Ray. He doesnt merely conduct a "business." I will never forget the day he went over my lab-work with me. He had tears in his eyes because he knew how sick I was. You just cant buy this kind of dedication or compassion. From years of experience, I can tell you that Dr. Ray Milazzo is the best!

I met Dr. Ray Milazzo for the first time on my dining room floor at the beginning of August when he and Margaret made a house call. It was a Monday and I could not move a muscle without screaming in pain after my back went out (L4-5). The next day he managed to get me to move myself into bed (with his help and A LOT of pain and drama) and the three days after that he came by and performed enough adjustments to get me on my feet by Friday. On Saturday I slowwwwly walked into his office where he could evaluate me properly and I started regular chiropractic treatments. Over the past 6 weeks, I have been feeling better and better and understand more about the idiosyncrasies of my own back. With each successive visit, I am feeling stronger and more stable. Dr. Ray is a compassionate professional and has been very straight forward about what it will take for me to me to keep on the road to heal from this trauma. I cannot yet report on how chiropractic has contributed to my overall health since this is my first experience. I do, however, feel fortunate to have him and his friendly staff right around the corner and would recommend him to anyone seeking chiropractic care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ray for over 15 years. As a long time sufferer of lower back pain and allergies, it is always great to know that relief from my ailments are only an adjustment away. Thanks to Dr. Ray, I have learned to trust in the bodys amazing ability to heal itself from within instead of just treating symptoms. As a stay-at-home mom of two young boys with boundless energy, it is important that I can function in my day-to-day tasks and in caring for their needs. Being in any kind of pain can not only slow a person down but damper their mood. It is so important to me to be able to care for my boys and spend time playing with them. But its not much fun when you get down on the floor to play at their level, struggle to get back on your feet, and remain in pain the rest of the day when there is so much to do. After every visit, Dr. Ray uses his infamous expression "your power is on," and that is exactly how I feel after an adjustment. I feel recharged to handle whatever the day brings without pain slowing me down or getting in the way. Dr. Ray and his staff not only make you feel like a valued patient but family. I highly recommend Dr. Ray.

In my experience, Dr. Ray stands head and shoulders (properly-aligned head and shoulders I may add) over any other doctor in North Jersey. My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Ray now for more than six months, and it has been such a pleasure to find a chiropractor and overall wellness doctor that actually took the time to get to know us well. It's clear that he's well-trained and very experienced, but unlike most doctors, he makes sure that the patient knows exactly how they are going to benefit from said training/experience. Dr. Ray is a true family man who cares about your well-being! (is there a way to give more than 5 stars?). Thanks Doc!

Although Im only 24 I have a poor lower back curve that has been giving me problems for years. Dr Ray Milazzo has been working on this with me for a few year now, and my overall health has improved significantly. I can now handle long road trips with little to no pain- something unimaginable a few years ago. I appreciate the fact that Dr. Ray gives me exercises to do at home which have helped me to see results even faster. I notice these other reviews mention the friendly staff-and its true! They are a warm and kind group of people who make me comfortable and at home every time I visit.

I have been going to Dr. Ray Milazzo for about a year now. I had chronic lower back pain and would occasionally throw my back out completely. Within one visit, I felt MUCH better from throwing it out. Since, I started going weekly and have felt a huge improvement with how my general health is. I also have my 3 and 2 year old get adjusted weekly. He is GREAT with children as my kids cannot wait to go! His office staff is wonderful and makes you feel like family when you are there. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for chiropractic care!

JoAnn-Jan.4,2012 I am 55years old and started to go to Dr. Ray many years ago when my daughter suffered from very bad allergies and they were recommending surgery. After seeing Dr. Ray she is 100% better. After that we have became a chiropractic family. I had hurt my back several years ago and they suggested all kinds of treatments but the one that has helped me is seeing Dr. Ray for treatment. He has truly helped our entire family. The office staff is warm and friendly and I highly recommend Dr. Ray.
