I approached the Family Center because of the information given over the phone (by the Center) that they had income based reduced fees. There was a flyer at the Center about this. When arriving at the family Center I was then told that the financial consultation would take place after seeing first the docs. Maybe for scheduling reasons, I do not know. The financial counselor that I eventually did see informed me that even though my income for 2011 was under the amount they quoted I was not eligible for a reduction of the rates of the Family Center.

I have been waiting for a week for a call back to speak with someone and set up an appointment about one of their programs - after leaving 3 messages (Ellenville, New Paltz, Kingston) - nothing......and finally, I called again today and explained to (2) different receptionists in (2) different locations what my situation was - sorry cant help you....leave your name and number someone will get back to you.......

Not fancy but the staff is efficient and friendly. Ive only been 2x but I like their motto. They work with just about every Insurance because they believe everyone should have access to Healthcare.

Front desk , terrible service. Doctors and nurses are fabulous.
