Dr. Wayman is a great doctor, but unfortunately his office staff is incompetent. Today when we showed up for our scheduled appointment the staff insisted we did not have one. They put us in as a walk-in. This is the second time I called days in advance to schedule an appointment only to find the office never put it in. When I challenged the staff they said they dont lose appointments and that in the future I should come in person so I wouldhave a little card to "prove" that I made an appointment, otherwise I should expect to be treated as a walk-in. I told her that it was absurd to expect patients to take time off work to hop in their car and drive to the office to schedule an appointment for a later date and time and that the staff should be capable of scheduling over the phone. She said "well thats what I would do if it continued to happen." I told her if it continued to happen we wouldbe shopping for a new doctor. Her response "I dont blame you, good luck with that." As a customer service professional I cannot comprehend the complete disregard the staff shows for the patients time. The act as if their patients are a nuisance and irritating. Like I said, Dr Wayman is a good doctor, but unless things change in his front office, were not going to be patients for long.

Front desk was wonderful. Dr. Wayman did not see me until 1 hour and 45 minutes after my appointment time. He shrugged off the delay of appointment time knowing I was upset. He ignored what I was trying to explain to him and my symptoms. He was polite but it felt as if he was just going through the motions of seeing another patient. I called back to talk to someone about my experience and he refused to help me with my true symptoms. I will not be going back there ever again and I will not recommend anyone to see him either. I feel sorry for anyone who waits so long to be seen as well as the girls that work there. It is a shame that he practices this way.

I have been going to this office for probably 7 years. The staff is great; especially Robyn. The normal wait time in this office is 1 hour or more. If you are retired and are looking for something to do; I suggest you go here. If your time is valuable; you have a job and family and life; dont go. You have to devote a half day for an appointment. I am not sure the doctor even knows my name after about 7 years. Not totally his fault. The patient load is ridiculous.

The front staff are insanely rude. They were just down right nasty to an older couple in their late 80s or early 90s for not understanding what they were saying fast enough.. This wouldnt be the first time I have seen one of these women treat a a patient like dirt.. on top of it all, every time we make an appointment , we wait an hr to see the doctor, whether the office seems busy or empty.. what is the point , of an appointment then?

Dr. Wayman is the best!! He listened to me at our first appointment and every one since. He has helped me through some very serious complications after surgery. Sometimes you have to wait a bit, but rest assured he gives the same careful attention to all of his patients. His office staff is caring and responds quickly to phone calls to the office. The follow-up on my required blood tests is amazing, too.

Dr Wayman is hands down the best doctor I have ever met. Hes a good man who cares about all his patients. Sure you might have to wait around a bit at times and thats only because hes in high demand. all great Doctors are. All the ladies at the front desk are professional and courteous I have never had an issue with any of them and his Nurse Ami is a true asset to his practice...I highly recommend him.

Ive been to this office numerous times. I absolutely cannot stand the front desk women. I believe the one is Robyn who is just downright rude and nasty. The wait here is absurd, you will typically wait and hour and a half to two hours before you see anyone. I am only giving this place three stars because both of the NPs are absolutely lovely. They are the only reason I keep going back.

I recently was looking for a doctor in the Toms River area. My first experience was that I waited over two hours even though I had an appointment. The second time I went was over an hour wait and the third time I went was the same. I will not be returning to this practice so if anyone else has recommendations on doctors I am open

Dr. Wayman has been my primary physician for over 15 years. I have found him to be very efficient and helpful in taking care of my health problems. It is tough to have to wait extra long to see him, but if you can get an early morning appointment it is not too bad. I enjoy going to the office as I always come out happy.

I had such a wonderful experience at Toms River Family Medical. His front staff and assistants were attentive and polite. Dr. Wayman is a fantastic physician! Thanks to him my son was diagnosed with an illness early enough for treatment and we will forever be thankful for that!

6:15 appointment and I was in the waiting room at for well over an hour. I was on hold for almost 30 minutes to make an appointment. The only reason I come here is because Dr Wayman is a good doctor. Otherwise stay away from this place if you have a busy life.

Wayman is a Good Dr. but im angry about his clinic charging so much money to not even see a Dr. Time for me to find another cost efficient place. As I am pretty upset about being turned away even though I have been a Patient there for over 5 years.
