There is a receptionist there that is terribly bad for business. Shes rude, dismissive and her temperament is just downright grating. I missed an appointment and called to reschedule. The woman told me the only appointment was a month later. (How? The office is always empty whenever I go in. Are their patients hiding in the rafters?) I told her I couldnt wait that long and apologized for missing my original appointment. She said ok, I have to go. and hung up on me... Now, I realize that Im not walking into a restaurant or a store and I dont expect superb customer service. However, I do expect to be treated with common courtesy as I do pay a co-pay every time I walk through your door and you do get to bill my insurance through the roof every time you so much as take my blood pressure or corral me into getting a needless EKG. I work in retail and people dont generally make me uncomfortable but this woman does and I dont ever plan on returning to that office. Its a shame because although the doctors seem to be on a bit of a merry go round, they arent wholly incompetent. They seem a bit eager for running tests and referring you to specialists for every little thing but Ive never not been satisfied with any treatment Ive received in their office. * I should mention that she did say I wouldnt be charged the missed appointment fee. I have no doubt that in a few weeks Ill be sent a bill from their separate billing department. Ill pay it over the phone with my credit card and theyll send me a second bill from the office this time- not the billing department- saying that it wasnt paid and Ill call and be given the runaround and maybe by this time next month theyll have allowed me to give them my money. Im familiar with the process from the last time they didnt charge a high enough co-pay before I left the office.

This place is looney town. It is HORRIBLE. The staff is rude and incompetent. Their billing department is separate as they say and they lie to your face. The staff also lies. They procrastinated filling out a simple form for reimbursment from health insurance because they simply didnt know how to fill out the form (or the physician was too lazy to do it). Their billing department is separate as they say and when you call them they ask: What is Evia?. It is just a joke. One of the staff members: Barbara is VERY rude and incompetent. She lied to me for weeks and couldnt even reply to a simple email acknowledging she received it (I know she received it).

Dont take the negative comments and not use this practice ! There is no Dr. that is as kind , dedicated and knowledgeable as Dr. A. You may wait awhile but thats because she gives you all the time you need ! She has expertise in diagnosing and homeopathic treatment as well as traditional treatment ! She is also an acupuncturist and will suggest that to avoid medications when possible. Anyone I have recommended her to loves her and respects her!! It may be a long time until you can see her as a new patient but youll never look for another doctor again!!

One would be hard pressed to find a better integrative family doctor dr Augoustiniatos. Dr. A. has a very busy schedule - if you want to schedule a new appointment, you have to wait 6 months. Its over 18 months for new patients.
