This review is a long time coming. Dr. Polizzi is simply the best, hes been taking care of my eyes since 1989 as a high school kid. I never truly appreciate what a difference a skilled optometrist can be until I met several bad ones in Manhattan. 5 different prescriptions and none of them got it right at Cohens optical at 3 different locations. Even though I live in the city, I had enough and I needed my eyes corrected by the best and drove all the way out to Syosset. The difference in eye exams between those 3 Cohen docs and Dr. Polizzi is night and day, Dr. Polizzi is extremely thorough and nailed it right on the dot. I can see clearly without any headaches or dizziness, thanks very much doc! Seriously, go to him, its a no brainer!

I agree, Dr Polizzi is really good, patient, and an upstanding guy. But I cant stand how rudely a couple of the receptionists treat me sometimes.
