We absolutely love Dr. Malik!! I have been taking my dog to her for the past 4 years. Before taking my dog for treatment he was very nervous and anxious encountering new people and situations. Now I can take him out and he does much better and is more calm now. Dr. Malik is wonderful with him and my dog looks forward to every visit with her. At the beginning of every appointment she always asks how my dog is doing, if there are any issues or concerns lately and then tailors her treatment accordingly. I see a dramatic difference right after each session and the healing effects usually lasts for many days afterwards. Her office is also very conveniently located right off the Wantagh Parkway with plenty of parking out front. Clean, bright, spacious, a true place for healing and nurturing. We are very blessed to have Dr. Malik in our lives. Her compassion for animals is real and her dedication to her specialty is unparalleled.

I cant say enough about Long Island Veterinary Acupuncture. Dr. Malik and her wonderful staff are amazing! Dr. Malik has been treating my dog Lacey for over 2 years. Lacey has a chronic condition, which causes her neck pain and a lameness in her leg. At 11 years old and being an anxious dog, we did not want to put Lacey through a surgery that would include a difficult recovery process. Through acupuncture, Dr. Malik has allowed Lacey to improve and live much more comfortably. The best part is that Dr. Malik is a licensed veterinarian who specializes in acupuncture. As a result, I always have complete confidence in her treatments and advice as she is able to look at situations from all medical sides. She even recommended an amazing cardiologist for Laceys heart condition, whom we still use to this day. We feel so blessed to have Dr. Malik in our lives!!!

My dog Clancy had extremely bad arthritis in his legs and spine, especially in his front legs. Dr. Malik and her staff gave him very caring acupuncture treatment and injections. Clancy was very comfortable visiting Long Island Veterinary Acupuncture to the extent that he usually fell asleep while acupuncture was being administered. The treat at the end of the visit was always remembered and he left the office feeling better. I always felt that Clancy was being treated as if he was Dr. Malik’s own pet. She was very helpful in recommending holistic treatments that I and my wife could apply on our own to improve Clancy’s quality of life. I highly recommend you use her services.

Our young scottie, Ozzy, suffered for over two years with bouts of diarrhea, vomiting, bloody gel in his poop, and poop accidents in the house . Medicines, shots, even changes in his diet did not alleviate these irritable bowel symptoms for any length of time. Then someone suggested acupuncture with Dr. Malik. She is a wonderful practitioner with a vast knowledge of alternative medicine. With regular treatments over the past year and a half Ozzy is a new little scottie - the IB symptoms are gone! We would highly recommend Dr. Malik and her acupuncture treatments. Julie & Ron Tedeschi, Massapequa NY 12/30/16

Dr. Malik treated our Roxy after months of taking medication for her back injury which helped but did not remove residual pain. I asked the vet if he would consider veterinary acupuncture and he agreed. Dr. Malik helped Roxy get off all her medications. She began to play without any indications of pain. When we arrive at Dr. Maliks office she walks right on the scale to be weighed and seems to enjoy her treatments. The staff are friendly and the office has a warm atmosphere. Five stars is not enough for the help Roxy received from acupuncture.

Dr. Malik is a very experienced Veterinarian who enhanced her experience to include Veterinary Acupuncture. She cares about our pets and treats each and every patient as if they are her own. She has treated two of my Labs, one who was 13 yrs. old with hip dysplasia and one who is 5 yrs. old with a knee injury. It was amazing to see the results after my dogs received their treatments. They were given back their quality of life and agility after Dr. Malik treated them. I highly recommend Dr. Malik.

Our cat Gracie was diagnosed with kidney failure. Her blood test results, especially her creatinine and phosphorus levels, were off the roof. After Dr. Maliks acupuncture treatments and our giving Gracie the herbs that she prescribed Gracies blood test results are almost all within normal range. We are convinced that Gracies improvement is as a result of our bringing her to Dr. Malik.

Dr. Malik was the best thing to happen to my Daphne, a lab/pit bull mix. Acupuncture helped her walking and quality of life for another almost 2 and a half years! Daphne was over 16 when I finally had to put her to sleep. If it werent for Dr. Malik, I would have had to put her to sleep before she was 14. Someday, she will meet my Roxy!
