For many years, a lot of people have said to avoid The Cat Clinic because they had a reputation of jumping the gun in euthanizing cats. However, when our cat, Marley, was diagnosed with CKD at a little over a year old and Marley was not getting the type of care we knew he deserved from our previous vet, we had decided to give The Cat Clinic a shot. About a month ago, we had to say goodbye to our Marley. From the moment I had brought Marley in the first time in December of last year, Dr. Fanning and the entire staff were nothing but professional and kind. It was immediately felt that every single staff in the office loved cats and respected them. Dr. Fanning did not give up on making sure that Marley had the best possible life, exhausting every single option until we had to make the tough decision. The whole process, Dr. Fanning and Tahlia were so sympathetic and kind. Without even asking, they made sure to make imprints of Marleys paws for us. Our other cat, Snickers, who can be extremely difficult, is treated with kindness and patience as well as our new kitten, Ziggy. I do nothing but rave about The Cat Clinic, Dr. Fanning and the rest of the staff to all of my friends who have cats. I will never once think to go to another vet for my tiny furballs. My only one complaint is that I cant bring my future dogs to such wonderful practice and staff.

Trying to decide where to take your four-legged children for the best care, without leaving a dent in your pocket is such a struggle! I did my research, and after seeing all of the positive reviews, I decided to try the Cat Clinic. My expectations were already set high. When I first walked in, it didnt feel like a vet office, in a good way. I was greeted by Mouse, the office cat, and the kind, smiling receptionist. It was clean, with a lot of books and pamphlets to read. Donna (the Vet Tech) and Dr. Fanning both took their time and were patient with my Lana, who was growling and trying to bite during shots and temperature. Dr. Fanning and Donna took the time to teach me and allow me to clip Lanas nails with their help! They were so helpful, patient, caring, and went above and beyond. Because it was my first visit at the Cat Clinic, my annual wellness exam was FREE! Which was awesome. They did not try to talk me into any services, and offered a lot of advice for me as a first-time pet owner. I am so glad that all of these positive reviews led me to The Cat Clinic! I was extremely satisfied, and this is where I will be taking my Lana, and any of my future kitties. :)

We were going to board our Cat, Sylvester for a week when we went to Florida, so we brought him in for a check up about a week beforehand. The place is very nice and clean and we loved the private "condos" as we called them. And Mouse, the live-in and very friendly cat who lives at the Cat Clinic, was very sweet and just sniffed Sylvesters carrier and went about his business. The Vet and her assistants were terrific with Sylvester and his check up was quick and painless and everything went well. Unfortunately, we didnt realize that they closed at 1:00 on Saturdays so when we were going to drop him off that day and called ahead to ask a question and realized that they were closed, we had to make other arrangements. But...this was our fault and we were not charged for our mistake! Everyone at the Cat Clinic is super nice and when we go to Hawaii in September we definitely plan on leaving Sylvester with them (but this time well drop him off on time!)

Dr. Fanning and her staff are so caring and amazing at what they do. I had to bring in my 6 month kitten in an emergency after an encounter with a lily. My primary vet disregarded the situation but I wanted a second opinion. I called Animal Poison Control and they told me to bring her to a vet right away. Dr. Fanning took us immediately without an appointment and really took the time to make sure I understood the plan, options, etc. I dropped my kitten off on a Saturday and even though they are closed Saturday afternoon and Sunday- Dr. Fanning was there checking in on my kitten and updated me twice a day on how she was progressing, and after she came home, another follow up call to see how she was. I cant thank them enough for the care and compassion they showed. I highly recommend them to anyone.

CW and I have been going to Cat Clinic for the past 1 1/2 years. I was impressed from the beginning with the customer service and promptness of making an appt to address issues as well as annual appts. Dr Flanning explains the annual visit findings as well as issues in detail and discusses options. All the staff are friendly and fuss over CW. I have ease of mind when I board CW at Cat Clinic. They check him into his same room and he appears to enjoy the surroundings. When I pick CW up,I find a contented Kitty. I used their Ordering site for the first time. I ordered CWs food and Revolution. Ordering was easy plus free shipping when you spend a certain dollar amount. This will save me trips to pickup His routine items/medication. Brenda Fegley

I have been meaning to write a review for a long time. My first intro to the Cat Clinic was a year before Dr. Neros passing. He was an exceptionally kind, compassionate Dr. . Soon after Dr. Neros passing I returned to the "Cat Clinic" and was surprised to find everyone I had come in contact with had a welcoming, professional, accommodating attitude. The Drs are knowledgeable. I do not get the sense they perform procedures to increase their income. Today I have to return to the"Cat Clinic" & was reflecting on how pleased I am to have an honest, caring group of professionals to assist my family. ... Whithout hesitation I gave them a 5 start review!

Even with Dr. Neros passing, Im very pleased that The Cat Clinic continues to remain a very reputable and caring practice. We bring all 3 of our cats here and continue to have nothing but positive experiences. I also feel they are priced very reasonably, and they dont "over-treat" my cats, or push tests and services on us that are not essential. Everything is explained carefully, and in great detail. Im thankful that this practice continues to be there, as I have experienced other practices in the area before finding the cat clinic, and they did not offer the same level and quality of care that the Cat Clinic provides.

I have been going to the Cat Clinic for a few years now and although there has been a lot of change in those years, I love going there with my furbabies. Being an animal rescuer, I have frequented quite a few vets in Danbury, and when it comes to cats, I prefer going to the Cat Clinic. My babies and fosters are always looked after and one thing I value greatly is that no question is a stupid question. All the vets I have dealt with have been very nice and informative. I have learned a lot about cat care and I am very appreciative of that. I would recommend them to anyone with kitty babies.

I cant say enough about the compassion and professionalism of the staff at The Cat Clinic. I called them late in the day after noticing my 13 yr. old kitty was not feeling well. The assistant told me to bring him right in. The veterinarian, after spending quite a while with my kitty gave me the news no pet owner wants to hear. She gave me the time and space I needed to say goodbye. She also gave the comfort to my family letting us know we made the right decision. She treated my kitty with dignity and truly felt our pain. I cant say enough about everyone there.
