HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. I am actually quite sad to give such a bad review because Dr. Ts practice came highly recommended to me by several people. I was pregnant with my 3rd child and the care I received there was the absolute worst care Ive ever come across. Aside from being called by the wrong name EVERY time (my name is Danielle, I was called Debbie - EVERY time)... they lost 7 vials of blood from a blood test I had done. I begged to have some hormone levels checked as I had, had problems with these levels during my other 2 pregnancies (delivered by a different dr- out of state)... I was brushed off. Said I didnt know what I was talking about. Was point blank asked- "are you the doctor or am I?" Well, sad to say that if I would have been looked after like I was supposed to they would have known I was carrying twins and I wouldnt have lost them both at 3 months. (I didnt get an u/s done until 12 weeks)... the entire experience was just horrible, from day 1. I should have packed my bags and left after the first time they called me "Debbie". Luckily after I had my D&E and was told (by her) that I wouldnt be able to get pregnant for several months to several years, I went to another OB who walked me through a healthy pregnancy... and I was pregnant 2 months after my D&E and am now holding my sweet month old baby. Bottom line: things happen in pregnancy, sometimes not so good things... make sure that whomever you choose to deliver your child is someone you feel is competent enough to save your life or your babies life should something happen during delivery. I did NOT feel that warm fuzzy feeling with her and I would NOT recommend her to anyone.

I made an appt based on reviews. I went to Dr. Tahtawi for one particular problem that I was having which is making anemic. Upon checking in I gave both insurance and Medicare card. Dr. ran necessary diagnostic test then told me of a surgical treatment. I agreed and asked to have it set up. I got a call about a week later and was told sorry but since beginning of year I would have to work off deductible before the Dr would set surgery. I explained again I had Medicare and that would cover. Made no difference.I still have issue and physically getting worse every month. Medicare would more then cover deductible. Really? She took an oath to treat? And I have been billed twice for co-pay which Medicare pays that is if Medicare was placed on my account correctly. I had to call billing office to give them number even though I covered that number and card twice at the office. Very upset. My health worth this...time to find a Dr that will treat the patient not the insurance.

The first word that comes to mind when I think of Total Health Total Woman is respect. I went there for the first time today. I needed to be seen for a problem that hadnt been resolved by my previous OB. When I called first thing this morning, Nikki worked to ensure that I was seen today. With my previous OB, I always made the first appt of the day so I could get in and out. Even then, it was still a half-hour before the OB ever came into my exam room. At THTW, that was not the case. I was taken back at my appt time (11:30). I talked with Nancy, then Dr. Tahtawi, before the exam. They both listened to me as I explained what had been going on. Dr. Tahtawi exhibited her competence and thoroughness as she made a plan for my treatment. I told my husband afterwards that it didnt seem as much like an OB visit as it did hanging out with friends. The ladies at THTW are so pleasant, positive, and respectful. I would - and will- recommend Dr. Tahtawi to any woman!

I cant believe the review that was written on Sept. 11. I have been to several places in the area for OB/GYNs and didnt really care for any of them, until I found Dr. Tahtawi. I was looking for something small and personal because I was tired of being shuffled around from doctor to doctor in the big offices, and waiting for 30 min in lobbies, only to wait another 30 min in a cold room to see a doctor. Total Health Total Woman is the complete opposite of those other practices. The staff is wonderful, and I actually enjoy going for my visits. I never feel like Dr. T is rushing to end my appointment early to meet with someone else. Everyone is going to want something different from their health care providers, but I would strongly encourage any woman who is looking for an OB to do their research into THTW and Dr. Tahtawi.

I am such a fan of Dr. Tahtawi. When I was pregnant with my little girl, I did a lot of research to find the right doctor. I made the best decision with Dr. Tahtawi. As someone who hates going to the OB/GYN you would be surprised to hear I looked forward to my pregnancy appts. Nikki and Nancy are great nurses, and they get really invested in your pregnancy. They couldnt wait to meet my little one and still ask for pictures. I had a challenging 3rd trimester (bedrest due to BP), but Dr. Tahtawi did a great job walking me through it. She helped me stay calm up threw the induction. It was such a comfort to have someone I trusted so much to be the first person who ever held my little girl. I cant speak highly enough of them. I will always be a patient - so hope she has no plans of retiring until after I go through menopause. :-)

Great doctor and staff. Dr. Tahtawi has been my OBGYN for 2 years and Im currently 9 months pregnant. I was going to wait until after I delivered to review Dr. T but I saw these recent negative reviews and I really dont understand them. Dr T and the staff have always been wonderful - friendly, attentive, and very happy to talk about any concerns I may have. I was really hoping for a natural birth but my baby is currently breech. Dr T has helped me understand my options and were going to do an ECV in a few days to try to turn him. She has been compassionate and helpful throughout the whole process. I have seen at least 4 different OBGYN in my life and Dr T is my favorite. On a side note, Ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen and Ive been to the office close to 2 dozen times now.

Dr. Tahtawi was wonderful throughout my entire pregnancy and after. She answered all questions throughout the pregnancy and when I had some complications during my sons birth she remained calm which kept me calm even though the cord was wrapped around his neck twice. He had no further complications due to her wonderful care. I had several issues post baby (not caused by anything in particular) and she was wonderful. She referred me to a specialist since she knew she had not treated a patient with my issues before. She continued to call and check on me to see how I was for several months. Ive always been able to call whenever I have a question and it is answered immediately. I highly recommend total health total woman!
