Straight talk, 64 yo, good but not great shape and needed both knees replaced after years of basketball and tennis. My primary care physician (not my surgeon) recommended I start with Dr. Walker BEFORE surgery. So I started about 5 weeks beforehand as a means of increasing muscle memory to make the post-surgery physical therapy more effective. It worked so well that I was able to walk up 12 steps when released from the hospital. It has now been about 6 months post surgery working with Christine roughly 2x per week. It has been a magical experience in that I am back hitting and soon to be playing tennis again. I cannot say enough about Christines preparedness, thoughtfulness and expertise. She is terrifically upbeat, professional and a joy to work with. I am so pleased that my primary doc who I have been with for about 20 years recommended Dr. Walker. Please feel free to ask Christine for my contact details as I would be more than happy to speak with any potential clients about her. George

Christine treated my gymnast daughter when she presented with back pain (quite scary for us as you might imagine). She was highly recommended by our coaches. She was very knowledgeable about sports injuries, and over the course of a handful of visits, she was able to return my daughter to full form in the gym. Christine worked my daughter through incremental stages so that she could regain skills in a progression that was safe for her body. Additionally, she gave her easy to understand/replicate (my daughter is 9) exercises to work on at home between sessions, as well as lots of encouragement and TLC. She also coordinated/communicated with the coaches throughout the process. We would return to Christine if needed and would have no hesitation recommending her services to others.

I came to Christine with a hip flexor issue that has been effecting my running and lifting for years. When agitated I would have to skip work outs for months. Christine was very knowledgeable and intelligent. She clearly explained all of the exercises we went through and even clarified in laymens terms what they were revealing about my injury and compensation mechanisms. This knowledge not only made me feel respected, but also helped the information stick and allowed me to catch these compensations in my daily life. After 30 minutes with Christine and the inexpensive purchase of a yoga strap. My hip flexor has never been an issue. Since then, I have recommend many of my lifting and athletic friends to her, knowing that they were in great hands.

Christine Walker treated both of my daughters for different injuries related to gymnastics. I cant say enough good things about the level of care, concern and competency she provided to my children. She was very careful to understand their training and what activities they should avoid and what part of their training to continue until they were recovered. She was easy to schedule with and very detailed in her communication both verbal and written about progress and status of their treatment.

I have known Christine for several years now. I have been impressed at how much she has grown as a physical therapist and continues to stay on the cutting edge of our profession. Shes not afraid to think outside of the box and really goes out of her way to make sure that each patient is treated the way they deserve to be treated. Charlotte is lucky to have such a smart, insightful, and passionate therapist!

Christine helped get my daughters wrist "gymnastics ready" again when it seemed that nothing else was working. Our sessions with Christine were the perfect mix of parent and child education and understanding of what the issue was, how to improve the situation and ultimately to get her back to doing what she loves...gymnastics.
