Before entering the CORA clinic, I was simply expecting a regular rehabilitation facility. However, upon my first visit I was greeted by the receptionists: Maggie, Minerva, and Magaly in a greeting and joyous tone. Each of them has a unique personality, and they all make you feel welcome and at home there. I was given paperwork to fill out, and any questions I had relating to it were answered in an easy to understand fashion. After i finished the paperwork I made an appointment so I could be seen sometime within the next week. On my first appointment date I walked in and signed my name on the sheet they have on the front desk, the receptionists greeted me again, this time by name. I sat down and waited for around 2 minutes before I was called in to start my session, which was a lot faster than I was expecting! That day I was taken care of by Stephanie, one of the many wonderful therapists there. She performed my assessment where I was asked many questions regarding my injury. I was then asked my goals and aspirations that I would like to accomplish through therapy. Stephanie figured out how rigorous my therapy sessions would be as well as the limitations with my arm due to my injury. Since visiting CORA I have regained a majority of motion in my arm. Some days when visiting my arm will be having an episode of inflammation. On one particular day I was being assisted by a physical therapist by the name of Earl. I explained to him that while doing some of the exercises my arm would burn and be in pain, so he figured out an ingenious way of preventing that from happening. I still obtained the same benefit from the workout by performing it slower through Earls method. If I had questions about the exercise it would be explained to me, for example how to perform it properly and which muscle it was working. On my most recent visits I was assisted by Tonie and Melany both of which are caring and dedicated to the helping and improvement of patients like me. I was shown different types of exercises by each of them helping the recovery of my upper arm. They each motivated me in different ways to keep me focused and unwavering in my progression during each separate exercise. There was also the use of both heat and ice packs on my shoulder after the session to relieve the soreness. Wrapping up, my visits to the CORA rehabilitation clinic have been overall pleasant and joyful each and every time. The receptionists are friendly as well as professional and very helpful. The therapists in there treat you with respect and will help you with what you need, as well as adapt to your situation if need be. To this date, after going to this clinic for over a month, I have found nothing to complain about. Overall, every individual working at this facility is extremely professional, friendly, and zealous in the well being and recovery of their patients. In conclusion, I would rate them 5/5 Stars; if I could I would rate it higher. If you need therapy these are the people I would recommend to anyone in need, including my friends and family.

I arrived and was immediately asked to give a review of the rehabilitation center before I could even have an honest opinion of the place. Even before I had actually undergone physical therapy. I blindly accepted (Im sure I wasnt the first person to do this). I understand in the business world today how unbelievably important reviews are. But asking me to leave a review before even undergoing therapy, is manipulative. Upon being here further I can now give an honest review. Cora Rehabilitation Clinics is a great- but it does come with problems. The atmosphere is cheerful, and the staff is friendly and genuinely wants to see you get better. The staff has a very strong knowledge base in the medical field. Unfortunately, they have too many patients- and its very hard for them to give you the information you need. Every time I go in, I feel I have a million questions to ask, but they are so busy with other patients I either dont want to bother them with it, or I dont get a thorough enough answer. This lack of communication causes-at least for me, confusion on my physical therapy. Not knowing if Im working to hard or working too little; being unsure of any strange pains or pops, ect. I always find myself asking "Am I getting better, or worse?". Im not saying that by going to this clinic you will not get any better. But I am saying this: If you want to get better, you need to be independent. And not be afraid to ask the questions you need to ask and get the answers you want. Take charge of your health. And although I am a upset by the way they ask for reviews; I cannot deny that these are well trained therapists who really care about your health.

This location should be fined from the department of health for many reasons. It is extremely dirty and disorganized. Quality of service is extremely poor. It is evident that all the prior reviews have been choreographed by Javier Orthon and his staff. No one in the right mind would leave a positive review for this place. Plus, 90% of the patients there are field workers and do not know what google is to begin with. They accept the lowest rates from the workers compensation insurances and treat the injured like cattle 6 patients at a time in a conveyor belt style . It is one open area with zero privacy during evaluations. Everyone can hear everything, so much for patient privacy. They give you a sheet of paper and they tell you " Ok honey go ahead and do your thing. Holler at me if you need something. This was the assistant ladys favorite phrase. She looked burned out from that kind of volume" Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable!!!! The equipment are extremely old and dirty. Carpet is absolutely disgusting full of stains. They keep chart boxes around on the floor. A complete mess. It is evident how much they respect the homestead population by keeping those standards assuming that people have no situational awareness and would accept that kind of service. If you want your loved ones to be healed correctly look at your other options in homestead. Visit the location prior to being treated there. Remember its your body and you are in charge of it. Regardless of where your doctor sent you to receive physical therapy treatment you reserve the right to make your choice.
