I have had several surgical procedures such as achilles tendon repair, total knee replacement, total hip replacement and rotator cuff repair. In every case the procedures required physical therapy and rehab to achieve the outcome that I wanted. I play several sports including tennis, golf, softball and basketball and the ability to return to these was always my goal. I was a patient at a few clinics in 3 states during the rehab period of the above procedures. With that in mind I have a solid frame of reference as to the effectiveness and professionalism of physical therapy clinics.The last procedure that I had done was the rotator cuff repair in my right shoulder. The damage was very extensive and the surgeon was guarded with his prognosis. I chose CORA to perform the physical therapy and rehab required to meet my goals. I had the surgery in March of 2015 and my goal was to be able to play competitive softball by fall of 2016. (I will be 70 years old on Jan 22, 2017) The team at CORA constructed a plan to meet my goals. They helped me execute the protocols and plans to meet my goals as well as those of the surgeon. After the visits to the clinic that were designated by my health insurance had been met, the clinic manager informed me of a "wellness program" in which I could continue to rehab the shoulder on a monthly basis. The results of this program have been extraordinary. With the continued help of the staff I will DEFINITELY meet my goal of playing softball this fall. My overall fitness is better than it has been in almost 20 years. I have Michael Ferguson and his staff to thank for this. I have never seen a physical therapy clinic with this amount of equipment and the staff that will ensure that it is used properly and effectively. THANK YOU MIKE AND CORA. Dave Messersmith
