This place and people are amazing! Dr. Burnett and Dr. Crawford are the best. They care from the heart, just like the rest of the team. I am the proud owner of Bella, who was pet of the month. She was a trauma, who started out as a foster, then became a foster fail. She was a part of my family. I hadnt had her but a few weeks when I was diagnosed with cancer. Bella was still undergoing her own medical care from the trauma of being hit by a truck. She developed MRSP in her leg. Dr. Burnett called me, asked me to call my oncologist and ask if I could have Bella. I called Dr. Burnett back in tears...I couldnt be around due to my compromised immune system. Dr. Burnett assured me that everything would be ok. Dr. Burnett and Laura Gonzo found Bella foster care. Bella was safe. Bella become very sick from the MRSP. Dr. Burnett and Dr. Crawford thought it would be best to amputate her leg. Dr. Burnett sent videos of Bella after her surgery and kept me updated. On one of her follow up appointments, her foster mom said she had been vomiting. Labs done, showed the medications to help with the MRSP were taking a toll on her liver and kidneys. Bella was put in the hospital. We didnt know how it was going to turn out. Dr. Burnett was very supportive. Dr. Crawford took Bella home for a few days. He said " We will treat the patient and not the labs." Who could ask for a better care giver for your animal then a vet. A few days later, I received a phone call from Dr. Crawford letting me know Bella can come home! This was great news! II couldnt believe it. With tears of joy, I picked Ms. Bella Boo up and she has been such and amazing addition to our family of many...I have since starting taking my other animals to Dr. Crawford and Dr. Burnett. I love this place and all who work there...just amazing care and compassion. Thank you for all that you do to help animals and people

Lawndale Vet is the reason that my sweet precious pup is alive. I used to take my dog, Ellie May, to another vet in town. Ellie has always had GI issues and the vet diagnosed her with acid reflux. About 1.5 years ago Ellie and I made the switch to Lawndale Vet. In the Spring, Ellie had a GI episode over the weekend.. We took her to Happy Tails, they kept her until Monday and on Monday Ellie went to Lawndale in the care of Dr. Waterman. Long story short- We didnt know if Ellie was going to make it. Dr. Waterman and the awesome staff at Lawndale diagnosed Ellie with Addisons disease that week. They got her health back to 100% and Ellie has been GREAT ever since. While Ellie was at the vet, the staff loved Ellie and treated her with such care and compassion. Ellie was sick the first 2.5years of her sweet life and now she is a happy healthy dog all thanks to Lawndale Vet. You wont find another place like this... If you are looking for somewhere to take care of your furry friend this is the place.

I have been going to Lawndale Vet for years but have been spending a great deal of time there this year due to my dog getting 2 serious illnesses. I cant begin to tell you how wonderful they have been not only to my dog but also, to me. The first condition that my three year old dog got was Addisons disease which requires monthly monitoring and treatments. The doctors have always been there for me when I have questions and concerns. Then when my dog got a weird blood disorder a couple of months ago and almost died, they were so great figuring out the proper treatment and management while also watching his Addisons. All of the vets there are great but I have especially enjoyed working with Dr. Waterman. She is on top of Buddys symptoms and is always ready to try something new if one drug stops working. I cant tell you how blessed I feel having Lawndale taking care of Buddy. I would recommend (and do all of the time) them to all of my friends.

We have entrusted our dogs to Lawndale Vet for 12 years and 10 yrs ago a leopard gecko we adopted-shes 17 now & still alive per their direction to care for her. They provided excellent emergency care more than once to our older dog including IV therapy in-house mixed with home hours to lessen her anxiety. The staff behind the walls are very good with our pets and Dr Crawford was very kind when our oldest dog needed to transition to her death...very humane. Our other dog has had a few injuries chasing chipmunks including an eye ulcer which was treated and healed without incident by Dr Burnett. Our pets had care by all the Vets (Drs Jelovich & Waterman too) and we have had healthy results. We are taking in a new stray dog and have consulted and received treatment before he intermingles with our current pets. The metal artwork is fantastic too while you wait or you have reference books in each room to learn pet care.

I took my kitty into Lawndale Veterinary Hospital yesterday in a dire situation - most likely terminal. I was 10 minutes late for the appointment and an emotional mess - probably the worst client ever. Dr. J was very patient with me and gave me all of my options, helped me understand everything and make my own choices with all the factors in mind (cost, quality of life, etc.). She didnt try to push her own choices on me like I feel some doctors do. I tied her and one of her exam rooms up for nearly an hour and a half (after being late for the appointment), and she was so kind to me the entire time. I just want to say that Im sorry for tying you up for so long, and thank you so much for all you did to help us. Ill never use another veterinarian in Greensboro. I will be a better client in the future!

As coordinator for a dog breed rescue for many years I was always looking for a way to cut some care costs and still be able to provide quality care for all the dogs passing through my home. Lawndale Vet has always been willing to work with me and has ALWAYS shown that quality care was more important than numbers. Most of my visits were on short notice as I was bringing dogs from shelters or a bad living situations. I always got treated as a friend and fellow animal parent. The Staff of Lawndale has shown that they care. Not only about the animals that come to them but also the people that come in with questions or concerns. I do recommend Lawndale Veterinary Hospital to anyone that is seeking Quality care for the Fur Babies.

The vets and staff are wonderful. I do a lot of rescue work and they have always taken the extra time needed with some of the dogs I bring in to make it a more enjoyable experience for the dogs. They have always answered any questions I may have and I have never felt rushed in and out. They go the extra mile. I feel comfortable with all the vets and love the way the staff and the vets interact with my dogs. They have always been very approachable and last year when one of my dogs needed surgery they were all so wonderful and kind to me. I couldnt have asked for a more caring staff. I would never go any where else.
