Longggg story short, I came in at 5:45 am. one morning my puppy was not breathing well, and was coughing a lot. 30 mins later a vet there came in and told me my puppy wasnt doing well at all and is falling into a critical state with his breathing health issue. She explained how they need to do X Rays. I completely understood them and gave her permission by verbatim telling her to do ONE X-Ray of my puppy. Five minutes later incomes another vet came in and said that my puppy was in a bad place, and they have to to stabilize him, or he could go blue . (This is what the previous vet already said so without hesitation I let him know " I understand" .. I had literally just asked every question I had with the vet right before he came in. I literally just had the same conversation with the first vet.) He had just been to the vet the previous day and my vet sent the X Rays and all his information over right away. (He had been in the vet for a few days before we took him here because of the exact same issue.) Later they came in and gave me a bill for nearly $400. It was a little steep for me, as im a college student but I understood the severity of my situation. I asked for a print of how i was charged. Looked at the bill and it was a charge for mutilple X-rays. Whatttttt? How when I told the first vet ONE?! I asked to speak with a manager , and the same vet entered (NOW I KNOW IS THE DIRECTOR?!!???) and he said I came in and told you he was he wasnt doing good you said you understood me and that means you gave me consent to do it anything nesscessary.... It was seriously shiesty business. When my male friend returned the two of them got into a disagreement over what he claimed was meant by his words. He couldnt believe when I told him what happened. (All of this Im truly not as mad at about as much, I can understand how that may have been precived incorrect, buy it gets worse) He yelled i abandoned my dog so it doesnt matter ..excuse me . I was in that building every second . i signed in, and filled out the clip board. An excuse me wasnt I about to swipe my card , i left to get money ( which you insisted i have or you could do NOTHING for my animal) my license and purse, and his information. I was gone for literally 12 mins. On the way, I even called the front desk an explained what i was doing . told them to take my number and if they have anything they need to just call me until I get back there.. im right by the phone . It was 5:50 in the morning I was frantic... This staff member was a completely rude, disrespectful and unbelievable.. He even walked out in the middle of the conversation while I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SENTENCE.. This was after the arguement was long over with the other guy, and we were in the room with the door closed alone, I had to ask this man to act like an adult and have a simple conversation he was so rude. The rescue mission I adopted him from even called to speak with someone and they nearly hung up in her face. I cant ignore the dramatic experience. I have to say it was shocking watching horrible customer service to that degree.. Do your self a favor dont waste your time. They have horrible customer service, and do shiesty business . Take my word save yourself the headache on top of the heartache from your pet misfortune. I would never tell a soul about this place, even for emergencies.

The experience we had there with Dr Jillian Cort at this emergency clinic was the WORST one during the one of the worst moments that we and our dog was enduring. She was condescending and patronizing and arrogant jerk. We were there to determine precisely what his condition was and to explore any possible medical interventions or medications to help our dog who was suffering due to an intestinal bleeding. She showed no compassion and started shouting belligerently at my significant other who was desperately trying to communicate and explain to this moron and educate her on everything that had transpired with him in the course of a week including visits with another veterinarian and why we were there at 3 am in the morning. She was a horrible human being to deal with at a time of crisis. A complete human waste, garbage. We took took him there to ease his pain. Because of her attitude and arrogance we had to discharge our dog from this emergency hospital and take him to another one. When my significant other who was fighting for him, continued to attempt to educate her, she actually shot her down and yelled at her some more and had the nerve to say to her you need to calm down and listen. Which ironically is precisely what Jillian Cort needed to do. She needs to shut up and listen to what the owners are telling. We are with our dogs 24/7, we endure every struggle and we are there for every vet appointment and if there is a medical issue we attend to it, find out everything we can, and we are thoroughly aware of their case history. An idiot vet who doesnt even attempt to understand or listen to an owner regarding the symptoms or other veterinary visits is a disgrace to her profession. Not to mention I believe she is emotionally unstable and has some sort of anger and temper issues. I would NOT recommend this hospital or Jillian Cort. She is unprofessional, has some serious behavioral issues and has zero respect for the owners. I do not recommend that you take your beloved pet here.

I dont ever leave reviews, but I want to warn everybody I possibly can about what a terrible veterinary clinic this is. Im a vet tech in Georgia, so when I was visiting a friend in Greensboro with my pup and their idiot roommate gave her a chocolate bar while I was showering I knew she needed to get to the vet immediately. This was the only one open within an hours drive, so I rushed her 45 minutes there. From the moment I knocked on the door I was met with nothing but incompetency, arrogance, and complete disregard for animals. First of all, the VERY FIRST THING they said to me was "show your ID and payment" without even asking what happened or saying freaking hello! I wasnt even let in the building until I produced both! Fine, i get you need to make sure I can pay for your services...but could you possibly let me in the waiting room or at least glance at the pet? Despite this, I was exceedingly polite even though I wanted to strangle every single person I encountered, and was told to "sit down and be quiet" when I explained the timeline of events (highly relevant if theyre going to go the regurg route), her physical status up to this time, the details I got from animal poison control, and everything else. Considering they told me shed be "just fine if she ate some grass" and that apomorphine or activated charcoal never had any effect anyways (did anybody there even GO to tech/vet school??) after a 25 lb dog ate 12 ounces of chocolate....these people are complete morons and the practice should be shut down. If you have ANY other option, take your pet the opposite direction of this practice. Considering the astonishing level of incompetency I witnessed first hand at this "hospital" I wouldnt even trust them to give a damn distemper vaccine. Wish I could give this place negative stars and am planning on filing a complaint with the BBB and the NCVMA.
