I have used their services for about one year and even though the staff is warmhearted, the vets lacked judgement at the time of treating my pet. Once, my dog developed a diarrhea, and the vet wanted to take a battery of tests that left me with a bill of around 300 U$. The result, she might have eaten something that upset her stomach; though, the tests showed she was healthy. Last week I took my dog to the vet as she was limping, but still putting weight on her leg. The vet discarded the idea of a sprain or lesser injury, and ordered a series of x-rays, even after I told her that she started limping after running after a cat. At the end, she had nothing, just a mild sprain, a diagnosis that cost me 340US$. My fault was to allow them take advantage of my fear that my dog might have a serious injury, but they definitely need to hire savvier vets. Love for pets is not enough.

I was very happy with my experience today. I was a little apprehensive about taking my cat to a clinic located in a huge box store, because I thought they might try to ply me to buy extra items to increase the profits of the store. And I also thought that, being inside a huge chain, they would have subpar vets and it would be a rushed, impersonal experience. But I was wrong on both counts. I was very happy with the attention the staff gave both my cat and me. They even helped me carry him to the car since my hands were full with medicine/food!! Very talkative and kind people who clearly love animals a lot. And being able to just walk out and buy what I needed without making another trip was so convenient.

Ancillary staff (front desk, vet techs) are EXCELLENT here. Couldnt ask for kinder, more devoted people. Beware of the vets! I brought my animals here for 3 years and we got great care, but would never step foot in there again after my last few visits. My kitty was declawed and they BUTCHERED his paws and GLUED them closed so poorly I had to take him to another vet to get the glue soaked off. The other vet informed me his paws would never heal with the way they were closed. I went back to discuss with the vet and she informed me my cat was too old and big to have been declawed in the first place (I was never informed of this pre-procedure) and never took responsibility.

Wow! Just took my two miniature schnauzers there for an annual checkup. The vet could not have been more rushed or less interested in doing a thorough assessment. It really was a wham bam thank you mama visit. My schnauzers both have 1/6 grade heart murmurs. Vet made no mention. Had her stethoscope irradically about their chests. Did not take the time to listen, just went through the motions for appearance sake. I would absolutely not recommend taking your pet here for any service. Veterinary medicine at its absolute worst. I was really hoping to have a good experience, but couldnt be more disappointed. I will say, the vet tech was very nice. The vet... WORTHLESS!!!!

I have a small Chawinne that developed a case of cherry eye (being my first dog) I was uncertain of my amateur diagnosis. I brought her to Banfield on Lawndale to have a professional take a look. The two women at the front desk, Madison and Lucky, eased my concerns and made the experience a little less dreary. Over all even with my baby being sick it was a great visit with helpful information.

Ive never had a bad experience here. I am a student do I rarely have time to bring my collie in for an appointment, but I can bring him in early and drop him off for the day. He is always well taken care of and extremely happy when I come to pick him up. The few times I have had an appointment with a vet, they have been very professional and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this Banfield.

They used to be my favorite but they recently made a lot of changes within the year and staff turned over. The Doctors have all been GREAT. A few support staff have displayed poor communication, lack of caring that they misunderstood situations. This has happened multiple times, I have 3 pets and sadly they will all be going somewhere else now.

The staff are polite and professional. But I dont like the setting. The exam rooms are too small with no where to sit. I feel like my dog is on a production line. Also, the hospital is located inside PetsMart. This may seem a positive to some but my dog is overwhelmed by all the extra activity.

Weve been taking our cat and dog to this location for about 6 years and we love it. Dr Baker is AWESOME! Shes taken care of my dog Frank since he was 8 weeks old. Staff is always friendly and very helpful.
