This Animal Hospital has got to be one of the best in Raleigh! They gave me the opportunity to work as a Kennel Tech and eventually started training me in the areas of Vet Tech. In my time working there, I found out just how much I enjoyed providing the absolute best care for the animals that stayed. Most boarding facilities in Raleigh dont take your dogs out anymore than 3 times a day, but when I was employed here, we took the dogs out every chance we could in between other tasks. There were many of times where I would not want to part with the daycare or boarding dogs because I had gotten so attached to them when taking them out and playing with them. Each dog had a different personality and it was so fun to play and bond with each one! Working at this Animal Hospital has really given me the courage to pursue my career in Animal Health and I am so blessed to have worked with such caring staff! Dr. Gore is always straight forward with you and she takes great care of the animals that come through her hospital. The relationships her staff forms with their clients is unlike any other Vet I have been to, they respect their clients and go above and beyond caring for their pets. Im very grateful to have had the opportunity to work at an amazing animal hospital in the heart of NC. Thank you Dr. Gore, Carol, and Gina for everything you taught me! :)

I am a first time boarder and after ALOT of online searching got lucky enough to find Spring Forest Animal Hospital. I brought my 1 1/2 year old Jack to stay for a long weekend and was impressed from start to finish. The front desk staff was polite and very compassionate to this first time mom. I had a lot of questions but they never rushed me and made sure that I felt completely comfortable with leaving Jack. I dropped off my paperwork early and they even gave me a tour just to put me at ease. When I dropped Jack off for the weekend they reassured me and didnt even seemed fazed by my tears. I was told to call as many times as needed and that they would call me if Jack needed anything. I will admit I did call a couple of times but he was fine, they said he was a little shy(thought they had the wrong pup) but he was eating and loving on all the helpers. I picked Jack up at 4 on Sunday and the girls even had pictures of him from the weekend. What a great experience!! I will not hesitate to call them if I ever need to board again and I have already given their name to several acquaintances who also have dogs. If there were more than five stars to give I would!! P.S. Jack says thanks too!!

Well i have had more than few bad experiences with these folks.first my dog was boarded there for a week picked her up and that night she wouldnt eat and was limping slightly! mind you she had just had been there for a week and had test and such.well that boarding was almost 300.00 bucks.Then day two of being home had to go back. wow she was sick and had a infection in her foot. Well another almost 300.00 bucks plus meds. was just odd that she was there all week and over night she needed to be hospitalized! I just dont see how she was sick coming home! I gave one more chance! With my cat well brought him in to be tested for uti and be groomed (saved slightly) NO one told us that there would be another blood test to almost 150 bucks for that, and no call or talk of price! well go to pick up and it was over 400 buck!!!! I mean they could have been up front with price? But i will not go back i ask for records and will tell friends not to go there and if ANYONE ask do you know a good trust worthy vet I will say dont go here cause they are a little shady!!!

Dr. Gore is the best vet in the Raleigh area hands down. We have been going to her for since 2002 and have trusted her with every pet we have had (cats & dogs). We first found her after another vet told me that there was nothing they could do for my cats sickness. Dr. Gore showed compassion, and vet expertise, was able to CORRECTLY diagnose my cat and since she attended NCState was able to admit her to the animal hospital there for additional care. My princess pulled through and lived a very happy life. Our other pets also have special needs, and Dr. Gore consistently treats them. She does not order expensive tests unless she truly feels its necessary and in the pets best interest. She goes the extra mile to make sure the client as well as the pets are cared for like they are her own. The vet tech staff and all front staff in hospital and boarding facility are very professional and friendly.

I moved to raleigh just over four years ago! For the last few years I have been commuting an hour and a half to take my dog to a vet I have known for years! I finally decided I was being silly and needed to find a vet here! Thats when I came to Dr Gore at spring forest animal hospital! She is the most amazing vet I have met who truly cares about the animals in her care! I have read the other reviews and either they are talking about a different place or things have changed a lot in the last year because I will continue bringing my animals to them for not only vet care but also boarding and grooming! The boarding and grooming staff are excellent and take the time to really get to know my dogs and help them have the most pleasant experiences! Their daycare program is so cute for those of you who treat their animals like their children as I do!

Its simple as this...I know Im not paying for a 5 star resort to board my pet here, but all Im asking for is to feed my dog, take it out to do its business 3 times (tops), and to simply care for my dog for a few days while Im unable to. On two separate occassions my dog was covered in urine from simply not being cared for. Assuming the dog basically sat unattended long enough to use the restroom in the kennel, and then long enough to have to lay in it for hours. DONE.

My beagle Tilly does really well when she is boarded here. She tired and happy when I pick her up after a weekend! The friendly staff have been great. I had a death in my family a few month ago and had to last minute board Tilly and they were very kind and helpful even though I was a wreck and forgot her food, etc.

Our dog loves being boarded here. They let the puppys out to run alot more then other places we have been to. Also the staff is always super friendly.
