This rating is not for PetSmart but for Banfield the vet that operates out of this location. Do yourself a favor and go to another vet my two experiences with Banfield where unpleasant to say the least! My last experience, I received a quote over the phone for surgery my dog needed it came in at $450 which was comparable to other vets. So I drove 50mins to Aurora, when I dropped my dog off Banfield changed the quote from $450 to $750! Sorry for the lack of back story but if I explained the entire day it would take up a whole page! Needless to say I did not go through with the surgery and was extremely disappointed that the vet who was suppose to perform the surgery would not even take a second to speak with me on the phone or when I came back to pick up my dog. To tell you the truth I never even knew who the vet was that was going perform my dogs surgery or his or her credentials (another red flag)! When it comes to my pet and what vet I choose I like to hear other peoples experiences, after my experience Banfield is not the vet you want to take your pet to! I compare them to the puppy mill of vets, get them in and get them out type treatment mass production creates mass profits!

MY KITTEN HAD A TICK, I TOLD THEM TO LOOK AT IT AND THEY DIDNT. i got a 6 week old kitten, she was a stray that had been outdoors a bit since she was born. the day i got her i saw a tick on her mouth - i was able to remove it, but i also saw on the side of her nose what i believed to be another small tick, one that i was not able to get off myself. i took her to this banfield to have her initial checkup - i asked them three times to look at it and make SURE it was not a tick, they brushed me off saying it was just a spot she had and it was fine. When i got home i was able to look closely with a flashlight and tweezers, and sure enough it was a friggin tick on her face! i have no medical experience with animals and I knew what it was. i was so furious i have never taken her back to this place. its one thing to miss something, everyone makes mistakes and overlooks things, but i SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM TO LOOK AT IT. unbelievable. to call these people veterinarians is disrespectful to real animal professionals.

Horrible place to take your pet! Dont let them scam you into buying a "wellness" plan. They just want your money. They dont really care about your pet. They gave my 14 year old dog a vaccine that shouldnt be given to dogs that are 7 or older or who have had reactions to vaccines before, which he has. they didnt tell me about any of that! when I picked my dog up they told me that he threw up but should be okay. He was breathing very heavily and was crying to leave, so we went home. He then developed a rash on his chest. Thats when I googled the vaccine they gave him and found out how horrible it is. To say I was furious was an understatement. And the fact that they sent him home knowing he was showing signs of an adverse reaction to this very dangerous drug and they didnt even care. I could go on and on about the horrendous service I have had from them the past several years. Do yourself a favor and go to a real vet.

Very pleasant experience for me and my cats. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. The wellness plan for my older cat has saved me hundreds of dollars so far. Acceptable prices. The most recent time I dropped off my older cat for testing, ear cleaning, and to have a sore cleaned up, the veterinarian called me himself to kindly discuss everything with me and how she was doing. Ive also recieved excellent service from another location as well.
