I cant say enough about our wonderful experience with Dr. Milton! We were among the many other parents that have had breastfeeding issues because of our babys tongue tie. We consulted with our pediatrician, who didnt think it would help, and she recommended we see an ear, nose and throat specialist. Thanks to our lactation consultant, Betsy, we heard about Dr. Milton and decided to meet with him anyways. He showed us the lip and tongue tie and explained why our baby was having trouble feeding. We decided to move forward with the procedure, which was done the same day. Brayden came back, not even crying after the 5 or 6 min procedure with Dr. Milton and latched right away with immediate improved results! Hes been feeding great ever since with just one somewhat fussy stretch his second day after surgery. This was such a relief after hearing time after time that we should just feed our baby formula to get his weight up. Please, if youre reading this, and youre having issues with breastfeeding, give Dr. Milton the chance to look at your babies mouth and see if a tongue or lip tie is the issue. Our baby was having issue gaining weight with my wife feeding him every hour to an hour and a half and pumping to try to get him to gain. He was fussy and pulling off and not sleeping very long before he would act hungry again. We were frustrated and not sure what else to do beside introduce formula. Now hes waiting at least 2 hours to feed, sleeping 4 to 5 hours a night and so much happier. We are so relieved that our baby is feeding better, sleeping better and overall much more content. Again, many thanks to Dr. Milton for taking care of our baby and being so kind and calming through this stressful situation!!!

I heard of Dr. Milton through my Lactation Consultant, she said my son was lip tied and tongue tied which is why he wasnt latching correctly. This is my first child and he was 4 weeks old. I was so upset I wasnt able to breastfeed correctly, I knew we had to do something. Once we arrived at the office we were led into a private room where we saw their on-site LC. After speaking with her for a few minutes Dr. Milton met with us. He told us his personal story with his son being lip & tongue tied. He evaluated my son, which received a 7 out of 10 in lip/tongue tied severity. We decided to go ahead with the procedure. I was so nervous once they took my baby to get the procedure done but it was way worse on me than him. It only took about 5 minutes and he breastfed immediately once I saw him. He latched right away and I heard him gulping milk - it was amazing! Since the procedure we dont need to use the nipple shield anymore and he breastfeeds like a champ. Hes not fussy anymore and he actually slept 4 hours 3 nights in a row following the procedure. I would highly recommend going to Dr. Milton and getting the procedure done! Good luck to all of you mamas out there, breastfeeding is tough but stick with it!!

My son had previously seen an ENT doctor at a major hospital who did an incomplete revision of his tongue tie, and neglected to even diagnose his lip tie. I was nervous about getting his lip tie revised and of getting his tongue tie revised for a second time. However, after speaking with Dr. Heffernan, all of my fears were relieved! It was so amazing to see a provider who is so knowledgeable about this condition and the effects it has on a childs health and breastfeeding. By using state of the art equipment, the procedure was fast and effective. I noticed an immediate difference in my sons latch. They even had a IBCLC speak with me, and demonstrate on my son how to do the stretches properly. They are very responsive to questions and I can tell that they genuinely care for the well-being of my son. Also of note their facility is immaculately clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I drove 45 minutes to get to Brunswick Kidds and it was definitely worth it! I am so impressed and find them so trustworthy that I plan on going there in the future for all of my sons dental needs!

My newborn was tongue-tied and lip-tied which was affecting her ability to breastfeed successfully. We were desperate to address her feeding difficulties and wanted to continue breastfeeding, but she continued to drop on the weight curve. My pediatrician referred me to another mother whose child was tongue-tied and had seen Dr. Milton for the condition. After her referral, we had the procedure done to correct my childs tongue- and lip-tie at age 6 weeks. The procedure was fast (she was out of my arms for less than 5 minutes!) and effective! She began latching on better and nursing effectively that day. Our anxiety lifted as her weight climbed steadily. She now weighs in at 78th percentile! We are grateful to have had Dr. Miltons expertise available to us. At age 18 months, shes still breastfeeding happily. I am so thankful to Dr. Milton and the availability of the laser treatment which preserved the breastfeeding experience for my baby and me. Dr. Milton and staff, thank you so much for your care and guidance through that difficult time!

I was referred to Dr. Milton for my sons lip & tongue ties. I called Monday and got in Thursday that same week! We made the 3 hour drive Thursday. We seen Dr. Brittany, she was amazing! She thoroughly explained what exactly the lip & tongue ties effected & the importance of getting them revised now rather than later. She was so helpful & not pushy at all. We also seen Lisa the Lactation Consultant, she was way more than helpful!! She came and talked to us while our son was with the doctor getting the revisions done, to keep us distracted. She also showed us how to do the stretches & sat with us to answer all of our questions. Dr. Brittany, herself, brought our son back in, less than 5 minutes after they took him back. He wasnt crying & was calm. She also sat and answered any questions we had. Id definitely recommend these doctors to anyone!! If we didnt live 3 hours away, Id definitely see them for our dentist for our 5 kids!!

We were referred to Dr. Milton by a friend of ours. My daughter is 3.5 months old and had pretty significant lip and tongue ties. We went into the office not knowing what the outcome was going to be. We were so nervous. Dr. Brittany explained the procedure and was so great with my daughter. The procedure was supposed to take 5 minutes. After about 15 minutes passed my husband and I started to get anxious. The receptionist came and let us know that everything was ok and that they were just waiting on the dr to finish up with another patient before starting the procedure. I have never been to an office that was that attentive. Dr. Brittany and Milton brought my daughter back in themselves and let us know that the procedure went smoothly. They answered all my questions. I am so impressed by how attentive and caring they are at that office. Not all drs offices are like that. It really put me at ease at a very stressful time.
