I have had several experiences with Dr. Hivicks office. We were patients of the previous dentist and unsure of what we would find when the new guy came in. Most pleasantly surprised, my first visit was a regular cleaning and check-up. The hygienist was thorough and efficient (with just the right amount of small talk.) Dr. Hivick used my existing records as opposed to putting me through the cost and exposure of new X-rays. He quickly agreed that my "out of spec" gums would be fine, as they had for the past 20 years, and didnt try to convince me that more work was required. I find this honesty refreshing. His office worked well with my insurance, and demonstrated flexibility with scheduling. I would recommend him highly to anybody who asks.
