THE WORST EVER. So apparently I have a "extra nerve" in my mouth. The Doctor was injecting locals in my mouth to fill a cavity and he hit a nerve.. Instead of just owning up to it he blamed it on my body. That was whatever, just really painful. I then go to get a cleaning done and apparently my mouth was so bad I needed a deep cleaning, which is one of the more intense cleanings. THEN tried to sneak a VERY expensive electric tooth brush into my bill. I was recently telling my new and wonderful dentist about the whole adventure and he was telling me how they try to pinch every penny out of you and are being sued for doing unnecessary treatments. The whole thing with Aspin took three visits, a new credit cards through aspins "allied partners" and a grand later I was done. Except that they never got fully in contact with my insurance company and it took over a year for my insurance to reflect any charges sent to them, BUT THE WHOLE TIME I had collections calling me telling me I owed over a thousand dollars. I was not going to pay on the bill because when I talked to Aspen about "what if you owe me? What if I over pay on the bill because Insurance hasnt reflected on the bill yet?" They said they would just make a positive credit on the account. So they wouldnt give me back my money, only credit an account?! Do not use Aspin Dental, Go somewhere else.

It may sound like a commercial, but it is true. My experience at Aspen Dental, Mayfield Heights office, was wonderful!! I had not been to a dentist in more years than I care to admit, due to a bad experience. Ill just say my hair wasnt white then. Dr. Shirisha Madulapally was everything you could hope for in a dentist. She was knowledgeable, professional, and very good at explaining the procedures I needed. But better than that...she was kind, caring, understanding, and painless!!! I was worried, and very anxious about getting fillings, having teeth extracted, and being fitted for partial dentures. She was very reassuring and eased my fears with her calm kindness, and detailed explanations. And everyone in the office treated me the same way. They were all kind, understanding, and professional. They made me feel like I was part of the family. I was very worried about going to the dentist. I was embarrassed about my teeth. I was afraid of pain. It was time for me to go. Im glad I walked through their front door. It has changed my life!! When I was a young man the people in my community called me "smiley". I never quit smiling inside, but now I can smile again outside. Thanks so much!!!!! Everyone at Aspen Dental, Mayfield Heights...Your AWESOME!!!

The office staff is completely and utterly incompetent. The customer support itself is abysmal. With each and every visit, I was misquoted on my balance. Imagine going in and being told numerous times that your balance was $800 only to come in a week later and find out that your balance is actually $1800. As an isolated incident, I would be willing to chalk it up to a simple error, but this exact situation has happened to me on at least three separate occasions. They are unwilling to work with you and offer only a half-hearted apology. They do not call when they say they will for follow ups. Save your money, time and mental well-being and find another dentist. I would rather pull my own teeth out with a rusty pair of pliers than ever set foot in this dumpster fire of a business ever again. As a side note, the actual dental work Ive received from this place may as well have been done with said pliers. The work is sloppy and seemingly temporary. Nearly half of the work Ive had done there, Ive had to have a different dentist correct. For the love of all that is holy, avoid this place like the plague that it is.

I LIKE THE DENTAL OFFICE VERY MUCH. BUT THAT DAY BECAUSE I WAS UPSET ABOUT MY ACCT NOT BEING UPDAYED, AFTER THE RECEPTIONIST TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY. WELL IM NOT SUPPOSED TO PAY FOR DENTAL SERVICES. AND I HAVE MORE THAN FOR FIVE TIMES, OVER THE PH AND IN THE OFFICE GIVEN THEM MY INSURANCE INFO. THE RECEPTION AFTER SEEING THAT I WAS AND TELLING HER TO CALL THE COMPANY, DIDNT WANT TO DO SO. BUT SHE DID LOOK AGAIN AND SAID I COULD BE SEEN AND NOT PAY. IT SEEMED HER AND HER CO WORKERS SEEMED TO GET OFFENDED, AND THE AIR GOT THICK WITH IT. THEY ACTED AS IF I HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG! I DIDNT CURSE. I WASNT TALKING LOUD. BUT I WAS FRUSTRATED. IM ON THE VERGE OF TEARS NOW. BUT AS SOON AS I WAS TOLD I COULD BE SEEN, I WAS FINE. YOU HAD TO BE THERE... I JUST HOPE EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT WHEN I GO BK. IF NOT, I WILL GO ELSEWHERE.

I hated it they nickel and dime your insurance I got a treatment plan for over $2000 they even put $130 toothbrush on my treatment plan went in for excruciating pain on my lower left tooth found out I need a root-canal now Ive been taking Motrin and putting Orajel on the tooth cant even eat on that side of my mouth asked for something stronger and was treated like a drug addict The doctor answered her personal phone call while she was in the room with me all this place cares about is ripping off your insurance company which in return makes our premium higher because of companies like theres Will never step foot in that office again extremely unprofessional and when they were taking x-rays they kept putting these large plastic pieces in my mouth that I never seen her Sterilize

The doctor was amazing however, the people who work there and there billing is the worst thing I have ever encountered in my life. They make you pay a huge bill upfront and say this will be the most you will have to pay your insurance will pay the rest 100% guaranteed and then a month later they send you a bill for double the amount you already paid. They are complete liars and all they want is your money they do not care about the patients at all. So much so that they never return your calls even though they say they will and they even make it sound like they care. Kate is probably the worst one there, she comes off nice but when it actually comes to helping you she is a complete joke. The docs are nice but the administration can make your life living hell!

I am going to try to be short, but I dont know how it is possible with all that happened. This was the worst experience that could be possible. It took from September, now is January and I was hopping I was finished (NO WAY) Two out of three inserts for the implants last two days. Now I am waiting for the phone call from them that may take two munts (that how long it took last time) If you need dentist? do no stop on SOM center in Mayfield Heights, OH. Staff is very friendly and helpful BUT PROFESIONALS NEED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL . For god sake this are dentures only (not a plain) The worst thing is that they mad thee sets of dentures, and I am steel without one, MAY BE SOOOOON????????? Aspen Dental sucks
