Long time Rockside family patient (20 years) and WILL NEVER visit this facility again after the lack of professionalism and poor billing practices I experienced recently. Invisalign Experience: Please be aware that despite what they tell you, you can see the attachments, and if you have a lot of them its practically like youre wearing metal braces. Not "Barely Noticeable" as it was described by the dentist during his sales pitch. A letter had to be written in order for this to be resolved. Like other customers in their reviews, I was happy with the final outcome- BUT there were issues regarding the final appointment and lack of transparency with costs. The facility performed work that was made out to be part of the invisalign coverage and then proceeded to tell me he had to charge me after the work was already done. These costs should have been made clear up front. The Dr. Made a very rude phone call following these events. "youre smarter than that arent you" is a direct quote from the dentist. It is quite sad that this facility is becoming what it is today, it used to be a place I trusted and spoke very highly of.

Dr. Carmichael has decided he wants this to be a very revenue driven practice. I am not a fan of that business model when it comes to doctors, dentists or vets. That is not to suggest the dentists themselves are not good at what they do, but when it comes to things like your health, up selling is not exactly what I have in mind when I walk in the door. People need to be confident the diagnosis is medically necessary, as opposed to something that may not be, but will result in a larger bill. The pros are the number of dentists in the practice which allows you to get a quick appointment if needed. The smaller practices are booked up for months at a time whereas you can usually get in the door here pretty quick. Just be careful going in. There is a good chance you will go in for a routine cleaning/exam and be told something along the lines that a filling that has not given you any issues since you have had it, is showing signs of a possible "stress crack or "hairline" fracture and needs to be replaced.

This is by far the best dentist office I have ever been to. After a terrible experience in Lakewood, I tried out Rockside Family Dental on the recommendation of one of my coworkers. Everyone I met was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I even had to go back to get fillings a week later and came out smiling. They really know what great customer service is - they hand wrote a thank you card for becoming a new patient, sent me a text to remind me of my appointment and even have flowers for patients when they leave. I have never met a company, not to mention a dental company, that has mastered customer service like Rockside Family Dental. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this place.

Dental care was good no complaints and yes I did sign the contract stating I would pay what my insurance didnt cover however I have never had to pay until coming here. I have extremely good insurance that covers the routine care I received however after calling the office after I received the bill I was told that "we charge more than insurance reimburses and your responsible for that." Thats something that should be told to patients especially when the dentist is in your network and no other dentist has charged in excess before.

I first came here out of convenience because it was near my office. I now come because I love the office, the staff, and the professionalism. I just recently went after years of avoiding the dentist. Felt like home again. No hidden bait and switch or unnecessary procedures suggested. Make this your dental care provider. You wont be disappointed.

Been with Rockside family dental for 2 yrs and the office staff and drs have always been great! Would highly recommend this practice!
