I am so impressed with this dentist office! All the staff are super friendly and did not make me feel even the slightest bit self conscious even with all the work I needed done. Dr. Matt Shaughnessy thoroughly explained everything recommended various options for a dental plan and the associated costs. The woman at the front desk was very knowledgeable and able to break up my dental plan procedures to maximize my insurance. I am so happy I came here and would recommend this dentist to everyone in Lorain County!

I was in between jobs and insurance co. when I got this horrible toothache. a lot of dentists wouldnt even see me because I had no insurance. Merit told me that they could see me that same day. Im glad I went there the whole staff from the girls at the front desk to dentist himself were super friendly. Dr. Shaughnessy went over all my options and took care of the problem right away. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a dentist!

Not too many people can say they are ok with going to the dentist but I can. I feel they take exceptional care of my teeth and do a great job explaining what to expect. I am in the service industry and take great pride in the service my business offers and when I look at the care given by Merit Dental I can definitely say they hold the same standards that I do, they truly care about their patients.
