I visited your ER on 1/3/12. I called ahead telling them that I would need a gurney. They told me that they dont have gurney available for the ER and that when we got there we could go to the front dest and request a wheelchair. A tech came out with the wheelchair and helped my into the wheelchair.I was in intense pain, I was unable to move without being in constant pain, a 10. I asked if it was possible for me to lay down while I wait, since setting in a chair avagrated my problem. I didnt have to long of a wait until they called me to the get my wrist bracelet. Do to my condition the nurse, Dee Dee, said she would expedite my case. It was almost four hours till they called me back. I guess calling ahead and being told that my case was going to be rushed back didnt help me. This caused me to be in sever pain and getting worst be the minute. I understand if there is someone bleeding to death or bones broken and sticking out or cant breath or having a heart attach need to go first but waiting four hours is unreal. Then when I got back I saw the Dr. For less than 5 minutes in which he said he wasnt going to xray or do a MRI. All he said he could do was to give me a shot Im the rear and to send me home with a R/X for pain. he suggested that I follow up with my family Doctor and/ortho for further care. When we left there was an gentlemen who was there before us and that he was still sixth in line. Right before we went in we were told that we were 6th in line. There turely something wrong with your system and misadvertisement reguarding you early check in process! I was unable to get into see another Dr. Today, so Im still in sever pain. The shot wore off long ago and the pain pills arent working. If this experience had not been as Bad I would of considered going back tonight for the same problem. Due to this experience I wont be recommending your facility

5th week: If you get Gwen Taylor as your nurse get ready for the laziest, slowest, most neglectful and snippy nurse youll ever have the misfortune of meeting. ... Been here for 3 weeks, heres my review (mostly for the ICU): The day time ICU nurses are incredibly nice, but very neglectful. It takes an average of 45 minutes to answer a bathroom call and up to two hours for anything else. They leave patients to sit in their own filth. The number of times I catch the day nurses playing games or texting is disturbing. Some have almost killed a few patients, one tried to give me epinephrine instead of saline, which would have been a death sentence... The sterilization of the rooms and bathrooms is a joke. Ive seen toilets with poo all over the seat marked sterile and no bathroom floor is ever clean. 4 of the 8 doctors Ive met are incompetent, never checking the charts or prior work, and almost killed a few people while Ive been here (the other 4 shun them and bad-mouth them behind their backs and for good reason). The food is good, the staff in the cafeteria couldnt care less about you, though. The new part of the hospital looks nice but the form rarely fits the function. Which is an apt metaphor for the rest of the hospital. The guest beds, for instance, look nice and are long enough, but not wide so you hang off the side. The cots are wide enough, but too short so you hang off the end. After 3 weeks here, no one outside of those 4 doctors seems to corroborate or even speak to each other... Like, at all. Its astounding, the way some of the people who work here seem to act so kindly, and yet, be so lazy and neglectful. Dr. Kevorkian would be jealous of these ICU day nurses and a couple of the docs. This place is like an asylum run by the patients.

I would otherwise give 5 stars if it wasnt for the rude receptionist in the ER, i had to explain to her 3 times that I had arrangements to get an emergency small procedure, I know we miscommunicated about having to check in, but I was not in the best cognitive state at the time, and she was still rude after I explained the miscommunication, finally after the 3rd time she had a nurse talk to me who promptly got me a a spot in the ER. Im glad St. Anthonys at least has a nurse check vitals a few minutes after check-in since that would have been my plan b to explain what was going on. Other than that mishap, my care was wonderful, doctors were polite and able to answer any questions I had. Just about all my nurses and techs were great too. especially Geniffer, Liz, and Aisha (who was super amazing btw) who gave me great care and were prompt with my needs. Even when they were not available during the evening or day, there was at least another nurse back-up. My room was a bit small, however it was always clean, hallways were very clean too. Food was good, and better than what I expected. Location helped a little too, my brother was at least able to go out walking in midtown and come back when he needed to, im really glad Saints stayed in Midtown. Even with the mishap at first, I am surprised how many negative comments there are. I hope saints continues and even improves their quality assurance. And better training for the receptionists!

I am very unsatisfied with my birthing experience at Saint Anthonys Joyful Beginnings Center. The staff had zero respect for my birth plan and continuously tried to interrupt a healthy, progressive labor with several, unnecessary interventions. They were aware I was having my first child, and their intentions were to take advantage of that knowledge. Keep in mind that hospitals are businesses and they desire to make as much money as possible. They fought me tooth and nail, but I had a smooth, easy and 100% natural birth because I would not allow them to intrude on my patient rights. Also, they are not equipped for natural labors/deliveries whatsoever. I was not allowed to get up, stretch, walk around or use the restroom. I was forced to lay completely still in a bed, with a pan under my bottom ("hospital policy") while they continuously monitored the baby for 7 hours strait. Dr. Willis, who I was not familiar with, was the doctor on duty. She was incredibly rude and aggressively shoved a catheter in my bladder without so much as a warning, which caused me extra pain and blood in my urine. It is never appropriate to violate a patient without consent. Overall, there was nothing but a lack of competence and professionalism among the staff. We will never use them again in the future.

I went to a satellite clinic of St. Anthonys in Blanchard, OK at Dr. George Adam Vascellaros office and waited just under 2 hours and still did not see the doctor. I went in for a simple script that a previous doctor was so kind as to call in the order for treating poison ivy that I get several times a year. I dont go to my previous doctor because I moved and the drive gets me in gas. Anyways went to Dr. Vascellaros office and left after the long wait and then returend so I could get a form to change doctors. The office manager was rude to me when she realized I was upset, getting ready to file a complaint, and switching doctors and her name was tasha stefanatos. The nurse/CMA came out when I came back to get the forms to switch doctors and asked if I wanted to be seen and I said no. The doctor should of came out to apologize for the "mess up" but apparently I wasnt worth seeing to clear up the matter. I recommeneded 5 of my family members to go there and now they just lost 6 and more to follow. Where I live its a small town and word of mouth is everything. Oh and when the weather outside is not the greatest they close there doors and in my opinion thats when we need doctors most of all?
