I took my granddaughter to pediastat yesterday because she had been running a 103 temp since Christmas morning but her regular dr was closed. The office was very very busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a very long wait due to so many patients waiting to be seen but the staff were very efficient. After being called back to go into a room things moved very quickly. They tested Raeden for strep, flu and rsv. The dr came back in the room and said all was negative and it was probably a stomach bug. They gave her zofran for the vomiting and sent us home. Raeden continued to be very sick throughout the night so we took her to her regular dr first thing this morning since they were open now. She tested positive for flu type A and strep. I dont like leaving negative reviews but pediatats tests are obviously not being performed correctly to get proper results. I could see getting a false negative if she was JUST getting sick but she had been sick for a whole day prior so it did not just turn into flu and strep overnight. I will not be going back to pedistat because this was huge to miss! Its sad because its a great place and staff are great.. but missing two diagnosis is a pretty big deal when its a one year old childs health at stake.

I came to your clinic on 7/21/2017 with my 5 year old complaining of horrible pain in her eye and sensitivity to light. My wife was certain that she had a corneal abrasion. Unfortunately she did. image2.png Whats even more unfortunate is that although your Facebook page states that you are open until 11:00pm and that your last check-in is at 10:45pm, your doctor refused to see or treat my daughter. I came in as another patient was leaving the office at 10:29pm. Your receptionist very politely informed that you were closed, I replied thats not what your sign says and I would like to file a complaint. Dr. Warlick then informed me that "Its 10:31. We are closed" then, after I stated my confusion, he said "You cant complain. I own this place" and threatened to call the police (which he promptly did). I waited long enough to obtain the spelling of his name and took my child to my car to begin searching for someplace that would provide her treatment. The good news is that there is a Pediatric Urgent Care at 91st and Memorial which stays open during their stated business hours.

Was referred to this specific location by Birth and Beyond because my daughter had fallen at her day care and needed stitches. I called beforehand and the automated system said I would have to leave a message (no live person) so left my information, what I needed when I got there, along with the fact I was on my way and would be there within 15 minutes. On arrival the receptionist knew nothing. I explained again that my 1 year old would need stitches. I then paid 50 dollars to wait 30 minutes to see the doctor who told me that they do not do stitches on one year olds and I would instead need to go to an ER that was all the way back to within a block of where she has been injured. I asked for a full refund since they could have told us that from the beginning without seeing us. I was told that I was paying for their opinion not to have anything done. Well you now have my opinion on your business, so please send me my $50 for giving it.

Had a great experience, will return, and would recommend to others. My three year old was seen for what we thought to be an ear infection, turned out to be just swimmers ear. We saw Dr. Clary and she was fantastic! The wait was short and she had great beside manner. She talked to my daughter and made her feel at ease while she examined her. The nurses were great too. Also, the place was clean and had a small play area in the waiting room. We got a prescription that ended up not being covered by insurance. I was able to text the phone number and let Dr. Clary know that the medication prescribed was not covered by insurance. Pediastat responded very quickly and called the pharmacy to find out what would be covered by insurance and sent in a new Rx within 10 min of my text!

My 11 yr old was having difficulty breathing. We walked in as this was our first visit to Pedistat. The receptionist asked what kind of insurance we had. I have Community Care and BCBS Federal. She said we dont accept Community Care so you cannot be seen here. I told her I would pay cash for the visit as my daughter is having difficulty breathing. She went to check with her supervisor came back and said No. I asked to speak with the supervisor and was told No by her as well. This place was recommended by one of St Francis Pediatric Hemoc and Oncologist. I will be sure to let them to stop recommendin this place. I cant believe they would not see a child that is struggling breathing!!!!

I found this amazing place at 11:00 at night when my 6 month old son was screaming with an ear ache ... the only urgent care open that night. They said they were closing but would wait for us. I have never and will never take my son any where else. I have never had to wait more than 10 mins to be seen and am usually in and out in less than 30 minutes total, which is a blessing when you have a screaming toddler in pain. They are wonderful with kids, patient and kind. They get down on their level and speak to them so the child doesnt freak out when theyre already sick and uncomfortable. I cant say enough good things about them. Amazing place! My son and I both love it!!!

Disclaimer: I dont know whether there was any other medical business while we were present. There could have been others that I did not see. All I can say for sure is that the waiting room was completely empty the entire time we were present while we filled out new customer forms, while that data was entered, and while we waited to be admitted. Completely empty. So I was petty surprised that we still had to wait an excessively long time after the nurse took my daughters vitals. If this is common practice for them I would not recommend them. I wont be going back to find out for sure.

Our Family has used Pedistat multiple times in the last several years. I cannot speak for other families experiences here but my children have never experienced anything less than astounding, caring, and professional care from Dr. Warlick and his staff. The facility is clean and comforting for children, which is very important for me, as a mother of 4. My children were always seen promptly and treated respectful and very well cared for. Thank you, Pedistat, for being an asset to the city of Tulsa!

Wonderful friendly and knowledgeable staff. We went on a Saturday evening, they werent terribly packed. Their office was very clean, friendly and lots of great toys for kids. We were in and out very quickly and they helped us out. My son was having a freak allergic reaction and his eye swelled shut. They were so nice to me and my panicky fears. My son loved everyone there and was very at ease. We will definitely always choose them in the future
