My daughter (17 months) has been going to this office since august of last year due to the fact that we had moved and mother in law said that the staff and doctors were GREAT because she had taken her children there. It was okay at first. My daughter had been sent home from school a couple of weeks ago with a fever, when I FINALLY got a hold of someone in the office they got her in that day. The doctor had seen her and put her on amoxicillian for the next 10 days. It seemed to had cleared it up.. untill a couple of days ago when she started to run a fever AGAIN and had a horrible rash all over her body. Once again I called the office and when I FINALLY got a hold of someone they were able to get me in the same day. When the doctor had come in to see her, her exact words were "Oh you were here a week ago with an ear infection" she ONLY looked in her ears left and came back with a perscription for agmentin. The next day my daughters fever had not gone down even with the fever reducer, i got worried and called the office... and what do you know NO ONE ANSWERD and I was forced to leave a message... 30 min went by i never recieved a call and decided to take her into the ER! When we got to the ER the doctor gave her something to get her fever down and then checked her, come to find out she did NOT have an ear infection and had an upper respritory infection. and that she was ALLERIGIC to anibiotic, that is why she broke out in a rash and her fever would not go down. (while we were in the er 2 HOURS LATER someone called me back from the office and asked if she was okay.....) So i decided to try my luck again this morning with calling the doctor and asking them to see her again and change her antibiotic, the front desk told me that they could not help and that they had to transfer me to the nurses station... where I once again left a message. Frusturated with all this my mother in law decided to help me and called the office, the front desk lady told her that I had never asked for my daughter to be seen just to have a different perscription written (which was a lie) ..... 2 1/2 hours later they called me to make an appointment... Needless to say this doctors office and some of the Doctors really need to be reevaluated..

I love this doctors office. I have been taking my children to Dr. Tejani for over 2 years and receive EXCEPTIONAL service and advice. I have a special needs child (7yrs old) and they provide him with all medications and special treatments needed. They make sure he is placed in a room with a number that is the same as his age. They know this helps him mentally. They know things that trigger him and help find way to get his weight and blood pressure with out having his anxiety raise. They always have videos playing for the kids and give the kids stickers when they leave. They do not recommend medications for all conditions if they are not mandatory. They do not believe in passing out medications like candy. If the medication is needed or you have a concern why they feel it is not needed, ask them. There are long wait times. I feel the wait is justified by the quality service each family receives there. The phone is always answered and if their are not appointments available they will refer you to someone or put you on an emergency list for an appointment. Dr. Tejani will work you in if you really need to be seen. Just call them. I would refer anyone to this office.

My daughter (14 months old) has been going to Dr. Tejani for 7 to 8 months now. Last week she had a horrible double ear infection. I took her to Dr. Tejani, she gave my daughter Amoxicillan to take for the next 10 days. On Saturday my daughter woke up with a HORRIBLE rash covering her body and you could tell she didnt feel well. I called the emergency line to get a hold of her doctor and FINALLY when she called me back (1 1/2 later) Dr. Tejani let me know that she was not having an allergic reaction that it was completely normal for her to be broke out like that with the ear infection. Later on Saturday her syptoms got worse and I decided to take her to the ER. She was having an allergic reaction to the amoxicillan and to stop taking the medicine IMMEDIATLEY! They put her on new antibiotics and ear drops (which for an ear infection Im not sure why Dr. Tejani didnt give her any). This morning I called Dr. Tejanis office to let them know of our weekend trip to the ER and the front office staff had no concern what so ever. I therefore cancelled any up coming appointments and will be seeing another doctor! VERY CONCERNED ABOUT HER LICENSE! Scary!!!!

i have been going here for 7 years now she always seemed to care ..today i took my son to another doc office for a Physical because they could not get me in ...no prob at this other dr office we discover my son has a more serious prob that none of us knew about, & needed Dr Stiles my family Drs immediate att. so i call n make app they tell me 3:00 so i show up nn they tell me no tomorrow at 3 i tell her i just cant make it have to take another day off..if she could just take a look n refere me where i need to go thinking she cared about my child like i do she was only on the other side of the door n only asked her to look to se realy how serious this situation is ...they said i could come back tomorrow or take him to the er...i see she dont care about the Kids i will be going somewhere else ....we have 4 children i need a dr that cares

they are ok as far as getting my son in for an emergency but im going through SO MUCH TROUBLE! I took my son in for his check and imunization and assumed everything was fine & the insurance took care of the fees. In may of 2012 i received a letter from collections saying that i have an overdue bill with these people that i was NEVER aware about! They never tried calling me to get updated ins info or to tell me that there is a balance on my account. So now it hit my credit because it has been too long for my ins to do anything about. Completley disappointed about the patient care here. Unfortunatley, its even harder to look for a pediatric dental office that sincerely cares about their patients. :(

This is what is being posted about this particular practice on social media 07/12/2017 "Katie Peters-McAvoy~ Im looking for a new pediatrician for my children. Im currently going to dr. Laura Stiles in Rowlett and I feel like we arent valued patients and its more of like get you in get you out take your money then actually caring about the child. I just came in here for my daughters 4 year old check up and not a single recognizable face was here and they didnt know anything about my kid and shes been going here her whole life.
