I need to say this, While your reading this keep in mind. People are more likely to write a bad review or no review at all. Most people dont go online and write good reviews. Now with that said, we have had very very few issues. What issues we have had, were worked out. We are on Tricare, so our options are limited. At first their were some problems getting the insurance and the pediatricians working together. It went almost 6 months before it was all straightened out, but it was fixed in the end. It didnt end up costing us more than a couple dollars, literally. He has taken good care of our son, he has told us what we really need, and what we really dont need. Our childs doctor has been very honest with what to expect, just how picky you need to be, and even explained to us things we dont need to do. Things we dont need to worry about. Our son had a couple of ear infections, and other problems, which were treated quickly and affectively. While its not always easy to get an appointment, it sure is a lot easier than when I need one at the VA. They do have a sick child area for things other than just regular visits, but our doctor was kind enough to see him on short notice. We both really like our doctor, how well he has done with our son, and how things have been going for us here. We plan to stay with these guys for a while if this is how things are going to go. He even went over our health, and things we need to do, like dont forget to go out on dates, and dont forget to not over react because we all get sick. He also showed us how gentle and rough we need to be, and not to sweat him getting hurt, because its going to happen. We are very happy with Dr. Pflieger.

We have taken our children to Rockwall Pediatrics for several years. We have seen several different physicians there who have all been great. Very knowledgeable and helpful as we have worked through our kids health concerns. My only complaint is in the past we have had trouble with prescriptions being sent and the pharmacy actually having them, there has been delays with getting orders signed for therapy needs. Whenever we have had trouble with delays, making a simple phone call is all it takes to get the job taken care of and the staff is very efficient on getting the ball rolling again. This has not been a trouble at all recently and we love the new Forney office and their staff is wonderful. I feel very confident in my 5 star rating. Dr. Phlieger is fantastic with my kids. My first meeting with him, he reminded me very much of Patch Adams. He immediately made effort to connect wh my son and help my son to feel at ease in his care. He is very knowledgeable and up to date on types of new medical science studies. He is approachable to talk with about alternative treatments as opposed to quick RX fixes. I am very grateful to the entire staff at Rockwall Pediatrics over several years of service from them. I could not rave enough about our experiences at the Forney location. Thank you, Rockwall Pediatrics, for opening up a second office to help serve a greater area and offer exceptional care for all your little patients and their families.

It is disheartening to read negative reviews about my practice when people are agitated (at their insurance plan) because they have no knowledge of what their insurance includes or excludes and/or because they have Medicaid. Our front office staff are the bearer of bad news when people dont pay for their care and expect something free. We pour our hearts out to the Medicaid population because we care. We will release those families from our care when they are rude, indecent or swear at us. My staff are NOT rude and I am sure that people think they are rude because they are yelling at my staff in the first place for their own deficiencies or because they are tired from staying up all night with a sick kid and have to leave their workplace to get a professional opinion. I for one (and my staff know I feel this way) understand that parents take a lot on by being up all night with a sick child and have to prepare them for the doctor, make an appointment and sometimes drive a long distance to get here because their are to few doctors taking Medicaid. These Google reviews show only a cursory impression of the most agitated and childish sorts of people. The complainers are the rude ones and will be dismissed from the practice immediately for swearing at my staff. Poor planning on their part does not constitute and emergency on our part.

We lived in the Rockwall area for 4 1/4 years. Rockwall Pediatrics was the only pediatrician office in the area that would accept Tricare, so we had no choice but to go there. I wasnt impressed at first, but I grew to love several of the doctors. Dr. Chinn, Dr. Ewert, and Dr. Baker are all amazing and are very thorough. On the downside, the wait is usually very long, even with an appointment. I had no real complaints until today. I called over a month and a half ago before we moved. We had a high balance due to our insurance not covering a doctor visit for some reason. I called to inquire about it and reconcile our balance. I was told by someone in billing that they would check in on it and call me back with my new balance. Over a month and a half, I NEVER received a phone call, and I NEVER received another statement. However, I did receive a call from a collection agency today saying that my balance had been turned over to a collections and needed to be paid in full. While my total had in fact been lowered, I had received no notice of it at all! I paid my balance in full today, but I am totally disappointed in the way this situation was handled. Completely unprofessional, and I am so glad to not be going back!!

The doctors and nurses themselves are actually great, which is why I gave any stars at all. But the office staff is HORRIBLE. You CANNOT get a person on the phone and they almost never call you back. Last time my son was sick, I called 27 times over the course of 3 hours and left messages on every voicemail I could find - including 3 messages on the nurse line. I finally took him to Rockwall Urgent Care where I was in and out with a prescription in less than an hour. Nobody called me back until 4 days later. Lucky for me, his doctor left the practice and went to another one so we followed her there where we get excellent care from the entire staff. Now I need a copy of my sons shot records and they are unresponsive. The person who manages their Facebook page said that calls are treated like triage and my call was not important. Someone finally called me and sent me his shot records - but the records were missing all of his infant vaccines. Its been 4 days since that email and they will not answer me via email, Facebook or phone. UPDATE: It took a week and several more phone calls, but I finally got the shot records I needed.
