I am giving this office average rating. We had joined this office based on another familys recommendation. This office never proactively reaches out to let you know your child is due for an immunization or annual check up. They never follow up with you. They wont prescribe you simple things on the phone if its a weekend and the doctor isnt accessible to every family on the weekend for emergency. I joined this practice because another family told me this doctor is accessible on weekends. Our previous practice was available for weekend emergency calls, thus avoiding costly ER visits. This office doesnt give that option for all patients, which isnt fair. As I said we are giving it an average rating because we dont see them being better than average. A provider should be actively reaching out and caring about a patients health, and try to get the patient in for preventive care. Im highly educated and find out on my own whats needed for my child, but would like to see this practice improve.

Terrible experience. My 1 year old tested positive for rsv. NP wanted to have an ambulance take him to childrens in stl. I refused (even though the ambulance was waiting outside) and drove him myself. ER doctor in stl basically said there is nothing we can do. My son had cold symptoms and needs Tylenol for his fever. ER trip was a waste of time. Instead of a follow up call the next day or two, Dr cangas office sent a letter that they will no longer see my son. Also dr cangas was in the office and never looked at my son. Myself and my wife both have graduate level medical degrees. Terrible experience. Would not recommend.

I have had the pleasure of working for Dr. Cangas for 7 years and counting. Its great living and working in a small town , but still having up to date and innovative care for your children.

Dont go here! The doctor is all about himself and is like most other doctors and doesnt care about anyone but himself. He is self absorbed and doesnt give a person the time of day. He thinks he is high class and everyone else is below him.

I have worked for Dr. Cangas for two years and he truly cares for each of his patients like he would his own children. He is up to date on all current recommendations for treatment of illnesses. He is fair to his patients and staff.

My Girls Had whooping cough took them multiple times dr cangas never diagnosed the problem, Got them seen elsewhere and figured out the problem. His staff was extremely rude and unprofessional
