After running for about 15 years, I had my first serious injury in May of this year, tearing some tendons in my foot. I had no idea what to do. My husband had worked with Jim at Westside Physical Therapy a few years back so I decided to go there. I met with Adam Reinecker who quickly put me at ease. Adam and I worked together 2-3 days a week on a treatment plan. I had gone from running about 50 miles a week down to zero very quickly after the injury and had serious doubts that I would run again for a long time. Most of you can probably relate, when you’re injured you feel a little helpless, especially if you are planning to compete in a sport. Adam knows wholeheartedly how to work with patients of varying intensity levels – whether you’re looking to just simply become mobile again, or compete in marathons or go hiking like you once did. After about 1 month of visits with Adam, I was able to run 20-30 miles a week and also do some rigorous hikes with the help of an ankle brace. I don’t think I was really the ideal patient, as I ran a half marathon and climbed some mountains within about two weeks of starting our treatment, slightly re-injuring myself several times as I was pushing to train for a marathon. In spite of this!! - Adam still worked with me on a plan that allowed me to stay active, in a more limited fashion, while the injury healed. I only mention this as it really showed how much Adam could adjust his treatment plans for his patients. He was agile and able to help with challenging situations (ie climbing carefully up Mt. Adams while still injured). After about 45 days, I was up to about 80% pre-injury capacity and at three months, I was totally back to normal and ran my fastest marathon ever. I’m certain if I had been the model patient and not exercised for about a month after the injury, I would have recovered even more quickly. Adam is great guy to work with and the results were pretty amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable about all areas and what causes certain injuries and will laugh at your jokes, even if they arent funny. I looked forward to our appointments because I knew that they were going to help me to recover in a way that I knew nothing about. I have recommended Adam to a few of my co-workers and would seriously recommend him to any looking to improve their capabilities after any type of injury. You would be doing yourself a great disservice to not go to Westside Physical Therapy.

Westside Physical Therapy Team: I have been to three Physical Therapists in Beaverton and Lake Oswego relating to weakness, numbness and tingling associated with Spinal Stenosis that has been progressing since 1998. I have found Westside’s Customer Service, Professionalism and Cleanliness to be outstanding and certainly superior to larger local hospital facilities that tend focus mainly on Occupational Therapy. Additionally, I found the rates at Westside to be quite comparable with other Physical Therapists focusing on Athletic Performance. Westside has a nice combination of both types of therapy which has helped me at work with my posture as well as the weekend when I need to be much more active. I really appreciated the two way communication with Adam and his ability to provide useful feedback about my progress. Adam made sure I understood what I was doing for my back (McKenzie Method) as well as how it was benefiting my movement. In particular, I appreciated Adam’s in depth knowledge of muscular weakness associated with lower back Stenosis stiffness and Anterior Cruciate Ligament repair (ACL). It’s a great feeling to finally know what has been going on with my body and know that I am able to do something about it. You just don’t get that “whole picture approach” from every Physical Therapist you visit! I have not felt this good in years and have definitely benefited from the depth knowledge and professional services of the Westside Team during my twice a week for two months visit. Most of my symptoms have gone away or are greatly reduced and I am now able to snow ski every weekend and race in PACRAT and Masters competitive skiing events. Skiers and Weekend Warrior Types….I would definitely recommend seeing Westside Physical Therapists and Adam Reinecker. Thank you so much for your help! Thank you so much for your help! No one celebrates the need to go to physical therapy, but celebrate, I did, once Adam put me back into shape after a fall and separation of my AC joint. He also found what the doctor had missed - a neck injury. Adam was very knowledgeable with what was going on with my body and how to get me quickly on the mend. He was always kind and courteous, as were the rest of the staff. Adam found the best exercises for me to take home and do, he knew when to back off of one form of exercise or to change and try another. He also helped me with the overuse injury to my opposite elbow that began after being in the big robo-sling for a couple of weeks! Appointments were easy to make and their front office was always efficient and very welcoming. My son had also seen Adam after a neck injury due to a car accident. His experience with Westside Physical Therapy was as beneficial as mine. We both would recommend them to anyone we knew in need of a fantastic physical therapist! Adam always made it clear that the bulk of my healing was up to me and my commitment to keeping up with the exercises - which I did - and it paid off with a quicker than expected recovery. Due to his help (and a late ripening crop of grapes) I was able to get back to wine making just in time for the crush! Thank you again, Adam and Westside PT!

Adam helped me after a car accident in September 2016. It was the first accident Id been in, and other than being terribly scary, it left me with lots of neck, shoulder, and back pain. I had *just* started getting back into the running shape I hoped to be in when the accident happened (was on my way up to Seattle, in fact, to run my first organized race in a long time), and of course, the accident set me waaaay back. Adam helped me gain back the flexibility and strength in my neck and shoulders I needed to be comfortable and healthy again. Im still working on getting back to 100%, but if it werent for Adam, I would have been in much worse shape for a very long time. Ive been able to start running again and, though I have a long road ahead to get back to where I was, Adams help has made my recovery faster, safer, and even more fun than it would have been without him. Also, the whole staff at Westside PT is incredibly friendly and kind. I always loved going there, and it was never a "chore" to go to PT. I always felt great afterwards and was confident that Adam was leading me toward getting back to where I was before the accident happened. I cant recommend Westside PT enough. If and when I ever need PT again in the future, for any reason, I know exactly where Im going to go.

On May 1st 2013, I ruptured my Patella Tendon playing basketball! This is the worst injury I’ve ever experienced in all my years of playing sports, and as a former Division I college football player that’s saying a lot! The first thoughts that came to mind were the following: 1. find a great surgeon and 2. Find the right Physical Therapy group that has the expertise to help me deal with the challenges of this injury. I was referred to Westside Physical Therapy from my Head football Trainer at the University Of Cincinnati who spoke about their knowledge base with this injury and their ability to get me back on my feet. That says a lot given that Cincinnati is so far away, but the PT community is a tight knit group. It’s been 11 weeks since my surgery; Jim and the entire staff at Westside Physical Therapy have been completely focused on getting me back on my feet. During my first 2 weeks of PT, I couldn’t ride a stationary bike, drive a car or walk upstairs. I’m now driving again, riding a bike for at least thirty minutes and back in the gym to work on getting myself stronger. I’ve got a long way to go but I chose the right team at Westside to make it happen!! These guys are awesome!
