I had my first exam here with Dr. Carrie Dunks a few days ago. We discovered my eyes had gotten a little worse, and qualified for astigmatism contact lenses. After a day or two trying out a trial pair of regular contacts, I noticed they were a little "off", so I called to make an appointment to get fitted for astigmatism lenses. The appointment was with Optician Tiffany Martindale, who was very kind and informative. She and Dr. Dunks helped me try out three different brands until we found the ones that worked best for me. I had such an exceptional experience working with these women and the rest of the staff, I can tell they really care about their patients. I will definitely return here as long as I am living in Eugene, and recommend them to family and friends.

I went here back in march and the doctor insisted my prescription was wrong and that my previous doctor misdiagnosed me. She tried over and over to convince me that was far sighted and now I cant wear my glasses and see better without them. I tried to come. Ask to see another doctor for my son to have an exam and the secretary was rude. She booked my appointment for 3:15 and I arrived 5 minutes early and the remider card even said 3:15 and she had entered me for 3:45 instead when I had to take time off of work to come in. She even asked if the voicemail said 3:15 which my phone hasnt worked for a week. Use caution here. There are far more places to go and get better service and have friendlier staff.

I went in to buy glasses. Everyone was friendly to me, but arguing among themselves, which seemed fairly unprofessional. Then, after two weeks had past without a phone call about my glasses, I finally called and they said the glasses had been ready for a week. I talked to three people with poor phone manners before someone finally told me that the glasses were ready. I said I hadnt gotten a phone call, and the lady said, "Well, theyre in now!" Very weird experience and odd customer service. Maybe I just caught them in an off month, but I cant say Id recommend this place if you have the option to go elsewhere.

Dr. Jack Perkins has been my eye care specialist for 18 years. His manner is kind, concerned, professional and learned. I have had a serious eye condition for most of my life and it was vitally important to me to find a qualified optometrist when I moved to Eugene, Oregon. Dr. Perkins and the staff at Family Vision Center absolutely fit that bill for me. You will not find more helpful, fun and caring individuals. If you want the best in eye care specialists, go to Family Vision Center.

Fast, friendly, professional. One thing that I appreciated was that they didnt try to sell me on new lenses/frames when it was kinda borderline whether or not I actually needed new ones.
